Your car is awesome i love how original it is and how different you dare to be with it, but that hood gap needs some adjustment.

Your car is awesome with the black wheels and hood. The front grill with the pipes look kinda akward but they get the job done. If i we're you I would cut out the fog light sections of your old grill and just leave the outer "ring" and the center piece. Or i would put this style in it if it was functional:

Of course with a more fresh and dark coat of black.

I agree the louvers would be trick...either that or find some mesh you can see through as easily . It cheapens the look being able to see the filters.
Hows it sound?

i say keep the camaro center, also do the filters take air in from the sides and top as well or jsut the sides, if its the ladder maybe you could make some brackets to hold the foglamps.

I don't usually like black wheels on cars, but I must say I do like the contrast on your car. I do have to agree with the louver idea though, but nice job man!

i like the intake system, can you explain on how you did it? I was just wondering where and what kind of filters you were using. I was thinking about doing that same sort of set up since the factory unit gets so flat over the radiator. Those tubes may be the reason for the gap in the hood. Nice jod BTW

well my exhaust guy made it for me so im not sure on the filters. um the hood had the gap b4 the piping so i dont think its cause of that. it might be up for sale soon cause im doin a twin turbo setup and probably wont be able to use it.
and alex your just jealous cause my car runs.

I don't like it. At least get your air filters level.
It seems like it could have worked just as well behind a stock IROC grill instead of that home made job, and would have brought less attention to the fact that the air filters aren't at the same height.

I love everything about it except for the obvious air filters. I agree with what was said above and maybe try putting on an IROC grille with no fog lights on it.
I dunno, It just looks odd that way. Everything else about the car: the wheels, hood, color, is beautiful though!

Thats sexy bro. Looks like it should be drifting.
Thats pretty much what I'm doing to mine as far as the grill goes. The whole car with the black rims and hood on the bright red car is quite mean looking. My only suggestion would be to spray the innerds of the bumper and the chrome on the filters black to clean it up some. Oh, and new tires, cause I hate those (they look like BFG Radial T/A's, no? Those suck...)
When you get an intercooler in there, that will look beyond badass, and you'll have the ***** to back up the look.
Oh, and the uneven-filters looks cool... give it a homade-racer look.

you should throw on a custom emblem right in the middle. like a nice red bowtie and perhaps paint the filter chroming to black..

looks good, but arent those filters gonna get pretty wet down there, that is unless you dont drive it in the rain
i think its looks pretty bad@$$. the whole car just looks awesome. and yes, they did just make somethin like that on powerblock for the El Camino on Muscle Car, except for it didnt run down straight infront, it ran to the outside more cuz thats where the foglights (or turnsignals, dont remember which)

ok, can you get some pics of hood clearance or something like that. I'm having a hard time understanding how that pipe doesn't interfere with the hood when you close it, maybe it's just me

it appears that they trimmed the hood supports off the hood up front to allow that to work properly...maybe even cutting the hood itself but still under the cowl???pics are kinda dark on this comp. so there is no tellin'...IntimidatorZ, feel like lettin' us in?

I'd paint the filter tips since they're all the more apparent now.. however, a fmic and you're golden. Good luck with your turbo setup.. a whole new can of worms is opened when you start getting into that stuff. Oh, and try to do something about having a crash bar, man. Later
