Paint Idea!
Going to paint my T/A in a couple of months (just need some more body parts). I've thought about painting it like this:

BUT, with theese colors instead of the yellow and black:
<-------As a base color
<-------- And pearl white stripes.
What do the TGO ppl think?
----------
How much paint does it take to cover a Trans am?
Like one layer of paint?
I'm thinking around 4-6 layers of base paint and 5-6 layers of clear paint over that again. How much paint will this take?
Btw: excuse me for my poor written english!

I think that will look good! Good luck with getting it painted.
Thanks for the advertising just kidding lol.
JUST FYI-
That is ADOBE PHOTOSHOP RED LOL...
When I was editing that pic... I bumped the contrast and saturation. It gave it a candy look which the car is actually BRIGHT, BRIGHT, red.
Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that!

Im thinking the color combination could be real nice!
I'd make the stripes a little wider though and cut them off before rolling off the edge of the front.
Something along the lines of this quick PS (not much of a Candy look to it, but you get the idea)

I don't think stripes look right on Pontiacs, but if you insist on using them, at least push them closer together.

I'm most likely going to use a scoop. So that would just look wierd...
Do you guys have some stripe pics of firebirds with scoop??

the stripes probably won't look any worse than the scoop.

do what you want but ive tried countless ideas with stripes for our birds and it just doesnt work...no matter how you slice it it just looks better clean...atleast on the front end of the car nose/hood area...the bird above looks ok but overall the stripes are out of place and dont look right...its not terrible but it just doesnt fit
no offense to anyone

Photoshop red or not, a candy red of that shade and pearl white stripes will make a killer combination.
