yo im gonna give u a peice of advice to live off of. DONT BEAT ON UR CAR! if u werent beating onb it u wouldnt have landed in a ditch. U should really be careful b4 u go ****ing things up. This by no means is a flame i just dont wanna see yet another perfectly good thirdgen down the drain. If u want to change ur wheels go with 16 inch wheels and up. For my car i went with the same year WS.6 wheels and i love them. That is my favorite "mod" i have ever done to my car if u wanna call it mod. So take ur car in ur drive way. wash it, dry it, kick back in a chair outside next to ur shiney firebird and dream about what kind of wheels would do u right. and try to stay away from ditches ok?

Onefine,
Thnx
Your saying is good, im glad you feel the same about eachother, and other brothers of thirdgens.
if something would have happened, it woulda been bad for me, like i told my parents this morning, its my backbone, no matter what happens during my day, i can go sit in, feel the purr, and just be calm.
No Flame taken, but happy to hear.

Now fer wheels.
16's? would that be enough of a upgrade?
Thnx

well thats good to hear that u take good advice to the heart . As for 16s being a worth while upgrade. YES they are more than worth it. The stock OEM 15 inch wheels are a 15x6 and the 16s are a 16x8. When i installed them on my car it not only made it look 10 times better but my handleing was dramaticlly improved. Not to mention with a tire thats alot wider u will hook up better off the line. SO u get 3 BIG advantages with the 16s. Way better looks, handleing and acceleration. IF u want to see the wheels i got just check my sig above.

I think it's thirdgenresource.com that has good pics of all the available styles of Firebird wheels out there, check their site. Basically, you've got the GTA's (in a few colors, 16 x 8), the stock Firebird (pretty, but easily damaged crappy alloy, 15 x 7), and the (insert "light of God" sound here) Formula's. The last one is a 16x8 wheel, nearly identical in pattern to the Firebird wheels, but much more durable and generally brighter and better.

This doesn't help any, but I'm gonna tell you anyways, just cuz I thought it was FUGLY, but I saw an IROC with Firebird wheels on it - I wanted to puke... I drive a Camaro, and nothing against 'bird drivers, it's just that the 2 don't go together...

I would think that the IROC wheels would look OK on your T/A. I haven't seen that combo before. The Firebird wheels probably would have been OK on the IROC, except for the fact that they say "Pontiac" on them... I'm sure you guys have seen S-10's and others out there with Camaro wheels on them, as well. I don't care for that look, either, but to each his own...

iroc wheels on a GTA or TA is the stupidest thing i have ever head of. I see people like that every once in a while around here, they make me sick. no offence to n e one who likes IROC wheels on a firebird but it really is dumb

hey, not the formula wheels. he mentioned the formula wheels, and then he said some nearly identical 16X8 firebird rims. I'm hoping the alloy kind. someone post a link.

he meant the formula wheels have nearly an identical to the stock 15 inch wheels patern. The formulas are alloy and a nice bright alluminum.

Is it possible to sand that aluminum off the formula rims, then add whatever(alloy i suppose) to make em look just like firebird rims?
