Paint jobs that stand out

Anyone ever seen a mystic paint job on a thirdgen? I've only seen them on mustangs. and a second gen camaro. Anyone like them? I'm planning to go with black and alot of zanio...but it'd never have the resale value nor stand out as good as a mystic painted one. Opinions?

I havent seen a camaro with it. but i have with a different kind of mystic, orange to red. kinda neat but not of the car. that paint needs to be applied to a car with a lot of curves, not a thirdgen camaro.
and you would get more resale out of a black camaro than any car with custom paint. too customized cars dont sell.
thought i might chime in thanks

Never seen it on a thirdgen but my son has it on his 96 cobra. It's a purple, green and black. I really like it, but I don't think it's something I would want on my car.

I honestly don't think that the mystic paint would look bad on a thirdgen. Angles can make it look really good. My dad painted a friend's bike with it (A Suzuki I think...), and with all the angles, it looked awesome. Now, picturing the same paint on a Harley, with it's gentle curves... Not good, IMO...

the cameleon paints are killer.my opinion on them dont matter its your car.i like them but not on my car.plan to drop about $3000 on the paint job.those colors are expensive to buy.they cost the shop alot i should say and you ultimately pay for it too.

My mom has a fourth gen Z convert with the Mystic Teal. Turns from Teal to Green to Purple. Was an option color from GM when she bought it.

I've seen very many cars and trucks with "mystic" paint and it's my opinion that it's better for cars with rounded edges like a 4th gen. so that it blends from panel to panel, with the edges on a 3rd gen it would look as if you just shoot every panel a different color instead of blending together. Also it's very hard to blend repair work into.

It's your money and your car, but that alot of money to spend on paint that you may not be happy with.

What is a mystic paint job? I have never heard of that before? Does anyone have any pics of any car done with it? Even a rustang?
