After having my car at a GM dealer for 6 effing months I get it back covered in dirt. I brought it to the car wash, and then hand waxed it, but no matter how may times I wash it, there's these water spots on the hood and trunk that won't go away. Is it under the wax or something? If anyone knows how I can remove this I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Have you tried clay bar?

 

Vinegar and water sometimes works.

 

Never fails for me.

 

Vinegar and water? Cool! I am so glad I found this place, there's so many things I have learned already!

 

If a clay bar does not work, you may need to buff with a mild abrasive.

 

Another vote for the vinegar and water....just remember to rewax the car after doing it!
