IMO when u have a higher rear,
it looks more agressive.

just my opinion
and i think it looks nice too when the front is a bit lower than the rear.

anyways usually u will end up raising the height of the car
when u replace the spring,
as our spring could be as old as 24years.

you could approach this 2 ways.....

#1 Replace rear springs with new ones or see if there is a facility near you that will remove your existing springs and modify them or re-arch them. You probably dont want to raise it to much, just enough to give it a nice stance or rake. Or you could go the way of the old school and just install a pair of rear air shocks ( can you still buy these? ) that will allow you to adjust the rear ride height just by applying air or removing it.

#2 Drop the front suspension a little bit.... thus giving you that stance your looking for. This can be done with suspension components, or even by just adjusting tire sizes from front to rear. Maybe go with a slightly taller side wall height tire on the rear and slightly smaller side wall height on the front.

you want your car to look like this dont you?

Get lowering springs, but beef up the rear tire fyi hes got intrax springs and I will have the same set up springs/rim/tire combo

its not how high the rear sits to make it muscley

probably more like this:

my car is actually lowered all the way around, but with that big tire up in there, it helps give it a muscle car stance like your talking about. this is what seperates the men from the boys my friend!

you asked in the suspension form as well right?
I answered there, stock rear springs will do the trick.
hard to see the raked stance while i'm on the slanted driveway though

seriously go with air shocks, totally adjustable ride height.. doesnt sound like your shooting for any kind of performance just looks anyways ;0
a friends 86 camaro has them (dont ask, previous owner towed a small boat) and we had never messed with them but decided one day to check the air, and it was way low so we filled em up way past max apparently

his headlights were pointing like 10ft in front of the car when we were done, it was hilarious looking

The only problem with using air shocks is, there isn't enough metal in that area to properly support the vehicle weight. The body mount point for the shock isn't much more than the shell/tub sheet metal with a another piece of sheet metal reinforcement spot welded there.
Sometimes, in more rotten cars, it's not even strong enough to keep a stock shock from getting yanked/pushed through.

A coil- over kit, and shock extenders for the rear shocks, about a $35 fix. Should get you higher, but you are changing the cornering characteristics of your suspension.

If you're going to jack the back of your car, do it right. Hockey pucks and air shocks. That's the best way to fit 28x12" Futura tires.

"Stinkbug Stance".... LMAO..

You will need to add some wide-azz tires on some Cragar S/S wheels. Don't forget the feathered roach clip thingie for your reat view mirror and the "Easy Does it" bumper sticker....
