cut and buffed the nose today....pics

Well Im thru with the cutting and buffing! Mostly... Did the nose and ground effect today. Still a little peel to it i was over careful because of all the curves.

I did screw up the camaro letters on my new grill though. hit it real quick with a blue foam pad and meguires #9 and before i could tell myself dummy dont do that it was to late.

I taped all my edges even when i had the wool pad going. but took them off for the polishing. Didnt burn thru anywhere just the letters. The clear on the grill seems like it had a hadner it. But the letters were very soft and melted soon as the buffer hit them.

OH well have to get some silver with a hardner and try out the detail gun. Not sure what to use though.

Have to get some new pics now that its all done.

Looks great! Man your car must be a blast to drive. I really could have used your engine the other day when a 01 or 02 Camaro SS w/SLP pulled up beside me.

Thanks...lol...The tires had been treated before i left. The rims and tires were covered in rusty break dust. The car sat for months during the paint work.

The exhaust is SLP 1 3/4 headers for dual cats. No cats, going into a custom 2.5 to 3" flowmaster y-pipe. With a 3" SLP catback, it flows good for a 3" system.
