I wouldnt exactly think of cowls as the best hoods, but ive seen camaros that look absolutely amazing with them, and i think if he puts a high rise on his, itll look great. Just dont overdue it and get a massive cowl. The one on there right now seems perfect to me. A nice step up from stock no doubt.

first off, the stock flat hood is ugly, my toyota camry looks more aggressive than a stock camaro with a flat hood, 2nd, i like it, you can have your own opinion, its fine by me, do i agree? no. or i wouldnt have spent 440 for the hood. another thing about the hood that appeases me, is its actually functional, its not my fav hood, my fav is the ram air II but i dont want fiberglass. so this was my next choice. it also clears my strut tower brace, my stock flat hood bulged in the middle as it didnt have the clearance. but
for your opinons guys, im undecided between the 91-92 or the 5 inch spoiler...well have to see...my next feat is the new seats on the way from hawks. ill post a pic in a sec.

these are the seats i ordered, pretty excited about them, my interior is tan with some black upper plastics (mostly stock) whiteface gauges etc, it should set it off real nice.

I like the cowl hoods on third gens! I prefer the Harwood hoods with no raised center ridge, but yours will look awsome too... once it is covered in paint! A cowl hood screams performance no matter what car and what era it is from. The grill, lights, and 91-92 wheels look really good.
Nice project!
Are you still painting cr^p gold on the interior?

I like the 88 spoiler. It's subtle, low profile design really appeals to me.Then again I'm alittle biased.

oh i love it too, but with the 2 inch cowl it seems kind of for lack of better words, scrawny or weak. it just doesnt quite flow....

Make sure you get that thing painted to match. Otherwise, it just does not look right. Here is a link to my car that is similar in color with a painted cowl.

yes the whole car should be getting painted when i get my tax return. i was also thinking gold heritage stripes would look cool but i dont know if its too much. also want to tint the windows limo black. got a lot of "wants" left. my car is medium metallic orange too, but it doesnt look to be the same as yours? could just be the camera, i know my digital likes to yellow things out, especially lights.

yeah 88 was the only year SC's got gfx, then in 89 they were demoted to RS's.
I think a 5in spoiler out back would be perfect w/ that cowl hood.
