Things have changed..

My Z looks a little different than the last time I posted pics..for the good, and the bad..

Anyway I was recently involved in an accident where I was hit from behind and pushed into the truck in front of me. Cracked paint off my front and rear bumper covers..the other cars involved were not as lucky lol.

So as you can see the front and rear are in primer right now which is a primary fix until the whole car is repainted yet again.

But on to the good stuff.. recently aquired the wheels, 18" Boyd Junkyard Dog with the help of a fellow TGO member (jtmiller92)

I'm bummed the sun wasn't out today but oh well here we go..

i love black cars. lower that thing an inch and watch out for all the ooh's and ahhh's. Keeping it black when its repainted? repainting the whole thing or just the bumpers?

No the whole car is getting resprayed, there's a few things that I don't like about the last paint job that I want taken care of so I might as well get the whole thing done..

It already has a pro-kit drop which suits me for now, but I was thinking of going a little lower down the road.

The wheels and the car look great. Wish I had some of those wheels, great choice. Did you lower it 1"? If you did, I don't know if I would lower it any more. I personally have enough trouble with driveway scraping at stock.

It does look really good! I do think that you should lower with the sportlines for that mean look. I thought that jtmiller just recently got those wheels?

Yea, the RS was to be my first car and it was taken from me out of my will-totalled

What can I say, **** happens and there's nothing you can do but take what you can from the experience and move forward. Events like this one are out of my control and it's all part of driving a car and life in general.

Anyway me being 16 years old I'm happy with what I have and the way it's progressing..I may have been set back a step but like I said I wasn't 100% happy with the paint in the first place..this time I'm taking it elsewhere and putting down a more hefty chunk of change than last time.

nice lookin wheels! I had thought they looked really good on jtmiller's car and they look just as good on yours. You had just got the car painted, its a shame you got in that accident hope you get it fixed soon.

No problem, the Highrise spoiler just kind of makes everything look better. I think his sits alittle lower than mine also which helps. Very sharp car.........jt

You work at Jack in the Box? I see your car a lot there on my way home from work. Looks pretty sweet, sick wheels.

Well I'm actually having the whole car repainted..but I'm probably gonna focus on the new motor first and paint will be put on hold for a bit. I donno, I'd say deffinitely by summer it will be sporting a full show quality job..maybe sooner.

That's good to hear Yea it was hard to let her go but I couldn't afford to keep the project going and I really needed something reliable to drive around. I knew that when both my TA and my backup car the GSX were both down at the same time and I had no ride. Sucks when you own two cars but aren't able to drive either one. So the TA had to go to make way for the truck. Who knows I might get a thirdgen again in the future. I have always liked the style of those cars
