A white 1991 Camaro RS. It's a 5.0. Engine has 179,XXX miles, and runs strong, and sounds sweet. Car has alot of body damage, but nothing that I didn't find worth fixing. The car is completely stock, minus the flowmaster i cut off (was rotted) getting a Dynomax cat back and high flow convertor.
It has C&C T-tops, no power windows/locks and its a manual trans.

wow...quite a project. looks like a lot of work ahead of you.
its definately fixable, the only metal work looks like that right quarter. other than that you're gonna need...well just about everything.
good luck! welcome to the world of 3rd gens!
you seem stoked now, just wait till you make her straight as an arrow...plus you can say you did all that work, and she's really your car now.

Very nice. Don't give up on it.
BTW, I've got the 91-92 passenger's side rear spoiler corner piece painted the same arctic white as your car. It's from my old 92 RS. Let me know if you're interested in it.

For $1200 it still is a find. You can make that work. Just take your time. Once the body work is done you will have a nice car. We all had to start somewhere. At least you don't have to do engine work right now.

Yea, my dads friend builds chevy engines, and he checked it out, and said it sounds like it was well taken care of, well... the engine i mean, lol. The check engine light isnt unplugged and it does not light up so thats good too, lol. I replaced all the vaccuum lines and radiator hoses, and the belt, as they were looking old, and were cheap,so I just decidedn was worth getting.
BTW Plasma-Sword, I have the spoiler peice too, I went down to pick your part and got one, it's red, but once all the body work is done, I'm repainting, just not sure what color, probably white.
Hopefully I can find someone willing to send me a non power door for a 91-92 with ground effects on it for a decent price.

factory doors in good shape powered or not aren't cheap... i've bought whole cars just for their doors. to get a car $1k or less that the floor boards and rear quarters aren't rusted is about the most important thing. drivetrains are secondary on these cars.
good luck with it!
good luck with it!

91-92s are definately worth saving. The quarter panel will be the biggest problem since you can't just unbolt that and put a "new" one in place, but at least the damage to that isn't too bad. The side ground effects look like they're fine, that's good. I don't know if you can still buy those new or not but I know you can get a new front bumper and front ground effect.

Yeah, about the floorboards rusting, it's funny you say that because this car has never left california, I've know the guys brother for a long time, and he took care of the engine, and trashed the body...
But yeah I'm going down to the junkyard in a few days to see what i can get... I'm in california 91387zip code, see if you can pm me with a price of the door, maybe some pictures, and may be we could figure out shipping?
Oh BTW If it's a pwer door, forget it, I need manual.

You can swap the manual window guts into the power doors- it isn't that hard. My car has manual windows/locks but my doors were originally power windows/locks.
Do a search on the subject and you might not exclude power doors from your possibilities.
