My camaro concept... YAY! Part 1
I'm back again with another idea. So we all know how GM is bringing back the Camaro, and we can see how they totally ditched the 2002 design and are going "Round and Retro" (to a point), with the new concept. Well, thats cool, but what happens when the Camaro deign gets outdated? The mustang is getting redesigned in '09 after it's new design for 2005. So, how bout instead of morphing the looks they shoot for something like a Futuristic Thirdgen? Hmmmm... That would be interesting wouldn't?
So lastnight, instead of doing an English paper I started doodling some 3rdgen V2 ideas.. ( If any of my info above, is incorrect don't flame me because I don't follow car news ) Well, since I am too lazy to get my notepad, scan it in, so you can gawk at it's beauty I thought I would do a little MS Paint of it, it does no justice for the design, but I wanna see your reactions...
CONCEPT: The Camaro goes Round and Retro, instead of the sharp edges I went not with round lines, but with "Power Edges" Curves that are still menacing...
The Indented headlights are outside the car, no more being tucked inside, these puppies swing from the side and curve slightly. The 2 rows, IDK what they are gonna do but it looks better on paper.
For some reason I drew an RS ( louverd Grille ) with Z28 Stripes...
It sorta has that Nascar look (That might be a bad thing to some people, and I forgot the little nose emblem! ) The windshield isn't that big either, I have a hard time with those. The grille isn't that white and black color, it's there so you know what I'm talking about.

So if you like it at all, I can upload some of my pencil works...
-Peace
BTW: How do I turn my high-beams on?

Don't know what to say................just upload your pencil work. Those MS Paint ones really don't do justice for anything.

The new Camaro is starting to borrow shapes from the chrysler/dodge vehicles.
Whatever happened to Engeneers?? What about Designers??? Are they all, one person??
Todays cars blow in the design department.
Ignore the "gay" pick. LOL. post up your drawings. I am interested in seeing it.
I made my own design of a Trans Am. IT actually has a rear engine design.

It's hard to tell what your thinking with just those versions shown. Those just look like fourth gens to me.
To turn on the brights, pull the lever with the windshield wiper controls, cruise, etc..towards you.
You should have just done the english paper..

My name is Adam, and I don't have my license yet so I don't have to worry about how to turn all the stuff on and off, Dad put the highs on somehow and now we don't know how to turn on off... Well Now I know.
Yea I'm the kid that didn't know what the 2 was, I was told it was something else so thats what I went with...
I will get some nice Pencil work down for you tonight and maybe I will get them up.
Mavis, How old are you? I'm gonna ignore your little power ranger pic but atleast, if you gonna make fun of the MS paint car, atleast use a group pic from a good season...
I think after one Company went "round and retro" that's what everyone is doing now, look at the Civic, more and more it gets "round" and that challenger, its looks like a soap bar but still, I know what I want.. but "New America" whats "hip" stuff, GM would rather sell a "gay" car that would make crap loads of money, rather then work and make a decent looking car..
My 2 cents... peace

Re: My camaro concept... YAY! Part 1
I couldn't disagree with you more. The camaro concept is absolutely more angular than the 4th gen. in general, 1st gens were more angular, 2nd gens went more rounded, 3rd gens are very angular, 4th gens got very round, and now the 5th gen is going back to angular. Most cars these days are getting more angular. The peak of "round" cars was in the late 90s into early 2000s. You mention the Challenger... unless you have corners that can actually cut someone, it couldn't be any more angular.

Dude, log off & come back when you're at least, oh 12!
The 4th gen was round. Gen 5 isn't anywhere near being "curvy".
As for your MS paint skills, I hope they don't promote you to 6th grade.
I'm done.
