repainted my intake

i blew my radiator the other day and i was going to put a new cam in anyway so while i have everything apart i figured i'd repaint my stock intake, i know originally it was black but i think it looks betteras a chrome silver look. so here are some pics.

thanks, forgot to mention i had a friend sandblast it for me to clean all of the old paint off before i did anything else

Is that paint going to stay that way with hot coolant running through it?

it might stay that way for a while but if it doesn't it's not really a loss, it didn't cost me anything to sandblast it or paint it. i'm hoping to buy the edelbrock performer tbi intake this summer maybe. just thought i'd make this look a little better for now.

it looks way out of place on the engine right now since everything else is black and pretty dirty. but here you go...

i think it was a duplicolor engine paint, and the primer was just a generic rattle can primer
