Testing out a new lens. (2 pics of the Formula)
Played with my friends new Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L Lens the other day and took a couple of snapshots of my dirty formula.

thanks guys.
only new mods are a Hays performance clutch kit.
I have a set of vette heads that I am debating on tossing onto the 305 now or just wait and get a 350 shortblock and then use the heads.

Is that a fixed 2.8? Must be pricey.
Any color correction on the pics (increase of saturation?). It definitely looks great.

Re: Testing out a new lens. (2 pics of the Formula)
if you like working on the car, i'd go for the vette heads. unless the cost of swapping the heads is not appealing to you (gaskets, coolant, etc)
nice car
EDIT: did you say you were putting a 91 bumper on there?

Only thing I did with the picture was adjust the exposure and shadows, didn't do any saturation adjustments. The Torch Red paint just glows like that in bright sunlight (note the saturation levels of the colors around the car).
The lens is a 2.8 with no IS, it was $1080 from B&H Photo.
I enjoy working on the car, but have not been in the mood lately (been too cold or raining or both at the same time).
I had also considered putting on the 91-92 nose, bumper, and spoiler and making a Firehawk clone, but I am really partial to the 87-90 nose, I just don't care for the black bumperettes.
