Sorry, did a search without success.

Could anybody with a Camaro with C5 Z06, C6, or C6 Z06 wheels post a pic of their car. Im having a hard time deciding on which of the three to get. I like them all, but need to see them on some cars.

Thanks,
Chris

Ok, for some reason the search didnt want to include the huge 700-n-some-reply thread a few down from this, but whatever. I did find a few in there, but still, if you have em, could you post a few pics please. Thanks.

Re: Camaros with C6 wheels
Tough choices indeed.

Chrome 17" front and 18" rear Z06 (the tires with the purple stripe are the bigger ones)

I know we're not supposed to post 4th gens here, but for this thread since we're talking about wheels, I'll bend the rule a bit.

The chrome C5 wheels are 17" front and 18" rear

Playing around with some ideas

For the green Z28 with both the C5 and Z06 wheels next to each other, the sizes may seem a bit off. That's because the C5's are 245/45/17 and 275/40/18 while the Z06 are 265/40/17 and 295/35/18.

My personal opinion is that the C5's have a smoother refined look while the Z06 are the more aggressive wheel. I actually prefer the 17 & 18" combination over the 19" rear wheels that come on new Z06 Corvettes. They seem too big. Too much open space in them.

Also, the C5's look better on convertibles due to the luxury aspect. Z06's are more meant for coupes. (my opinion, your's may vary)

Hard to believe these are both Z28's. They couldn't be more different if they wanted to be.

I think the C5 Z06 wheels look great on C5 Z06 Corvettes, but look terrible on anything else.

I'm assuming you mean the picture I posted? Just the stock gold GTA wheels are behind the Z06 wheels.

That's where I got the chrome Z06 wheel/tire combo from. They have all sorts of packages on their link. 17" all the way around, 17/18 combo. I wanted a 17/18 combo on something other than Nexen tires. So they put together the 17/18 Z06 on Firestone Wide Ovals. Wound up being about $1600 balanced and shipped. Call them up, they can put together whatever you want. They threw in the chrome lug nuts for free as well.

The wide ovals look better in person than they do in traditional Tire Rack photos. Here's one I took comparing the 295 Wide Oval vs the 245 GS-D3.

Not a great pic, but it was a quick ic during sunset yesterday, not the best time of day, or location, .

These are the 17 and 18 inch, with 255 45's and 275 40's.
