I don't know how many years they made that wing. Isn't it called the red x spoiler?? I'm sure it was an option

Yeah, look in the back of any "Import Tuner" magazine and there are several manufacturers that make wings like that (and cool body kits)!!

------------------
L98, 3.27 9-bolt, Hooker shorty headers, custom 2.5inch Y-pipe, no cat, 3inch 2chamber flowmaster, JET AFPR, Ported MAF, Best ET: 13.86 @100mph. 1.99 60'
17 inch ROH "ZS" wheels. 17x8.5(front) and 17x9.5 (rear). Firestone Firehawk SZ50s. 245/45/zr17s and 275/40/zr17s. T56

On the way... Radar Blue 89 Formula, T56, Ram Jet 430, Ram Air, 17inch ROHs.

I know this will be said sooner or later so I'll say it now:
I believe you can get those at the same place that sells stickers, blue turn signal bulbs, clear taillights, ridiculous body kits, exhaust tips you can stick your head in-which sound like a kazoo, etc. In other words, you will be flammed for it being *****. Don't do it man, get the regular Z28 wing, but that is too much. That thing is ugly as hell. Thats just my opinion though, do what you want..

I don't think he asked for anyone's opinion on how the wing looks, he asked if anyone knew where he could get one. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a bit over the top too, but it is his car to do with what he wishes. I get the same kind of flack for not wanting to put any type of spoiler what-so-ever on the back of my Camaro. I happen to like the line of the hatch without a spoiler on it.

It's not that bad guys, c'mon now. Take the bra off and it's kind of alright looking. I don't personally like it but, I've seen worse, at least it's subtle & there's not a hundered stickers of non-existant performance parts on it

If you want "rice", it needs to look alot more like this

This is oldblueZ's car with that same wing

I don't think that looks too "*****"

I didn't say it was *****. I said he's gonna get flammed for it being *****. I don't think JUST a wing can make a car *****. I do however, think its ugly. But its his car and if he wants to do it, thats his decision, not mine.

i actually kinda like it, not like id set out to buy one, but its not bad. it looks like its attached to the quarter panels tho, which would be real bad if you needed to open the hatch. it could just be the angle the pic is taken at or the color, or blah blah blah, but its not too bad. and i dont even like how high the Z28 spoiler is.

lol they oughtta make a 4th gen style wing that goes that high lol.

I prefer to let my car make it's statement with an overall image that doesn't include cheap tacky bolt-ons. I want my car to make the statement, not my tacky accessories. I'm also not terribly interrested in my car's "image" and what other people think of it. I built the car to fufill the objective of being a super-fast, great handling sports car for ME to enjoy, not for others to ogle. Tacky accessories don't have any place in that objective.

How are accessories like that spoiler unique when every single car with that crap all looks the same? Riceburners all look the same after a while, and so do camaros with that junk. Funny how in an effort to be unique, you wind up just like everybody else.

Ive been searching for a wing that I actually like for over a year now. Ive probably changed my mind 20 times. I didnt want the 91-92 style Z28 wing because I can see that any day of the week besides I would have to remove my 3-piece spoiler. To go along with my Ram Air hood I think this would give my car an aggressive look. If the market was bigger maybe I would have a different view. I personally think looking through the camaro pics and seeing the same two wings on every car gets to be a little boring.

Besides the look, I was wondering if those big spoilers had any performance value, other than adding weight. What would an actual funtional wing be like? I may have like that wing before it was a standard upgrade on the ricers. I personally like the smaller wing now.

I don't think it is that bad. I am not sure if I would want it but I disagree with jim, partially anyway. I want my car to look good for myself. If everyone else likes it it is just a bonus. I caught huge flack for putting on my SLP window decal. I was made fun of because of my factory 91 wing on the back. I wasn't to sure about it when I bought the car but now I think they look bare without it. It comes down to what you like and how you like it. I think it gives the car a little more of a euro look and if that is what you like go for it. Thnk about it, euro look and you still get to drive a bad a$$ F-body!! I fail to see the down side! LMAO This is not directed at anyone!!
