Hi,
If you want to go the best way......don't get tail light black outs....spray your lights with a mix of clear coat and some a tint of black.....check out mine.....I think those plastic covers look gay.......

Thankyou guys for your help that sounds like somthing i'll try but i kinda wanted some covers because i am only 17 and some a-hole at school put a crack in my taillight by punching and i can not really spend that much on those expensive lens. But i think i am going to to the clear coat and black paint because it looks good. Will someone email what to do and how to do it. Thanx
P.S. in regards to the firebird and t/a lights being the same the gts styling covers say 1990 firebird ex. t/a. thanks for the suggestion though.

the reason they dont list them for trans ams is becouse the trans ams got the grid style tail lights and thats already dark as it is and they felt that those with blackouts would be to dark. I have them on my 89 firebird, click on the link below to see a pic.....
