Re: which grille/hood
thanks, it seems like everyone hates the banner. what would be the easiest way to remove it. still unsure one hood/grill though. either gonna do iroc hood(louvers) and camaro grill. or z28 grill and blister hood
Re: which grille/hood
#1 Ditch the Banner
I would say the Bowtie grill, but Paint the Bowtie white (I had it it like that on my 93 Camaro)
And a 82-84 Factory Composite Z28 Hood.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but I was wondering why everyone preferred the bowtie grill over the camaro one?

ya use the bow tie grill but I would leave it red,, the color red on chevy logos of any kind signifies "performance" model!! the color red is a logo in it`s own right anything from gmpp has a RED bow tie on the box!

Re: which grille/hood
To me, it always seemed redundant to have the name of a car on the car, especially one that stands out, like a third-gen will. Show your Chevy pride, we all know it's a Camaro.

I'm partial to the bowtie, looks great. I think it would look just as good with a white car. You've got red in your Camaro banner logo on the nose, do you not?

I like the "camaro" only because mine will eventually be a sleeper. The red chevy logo is a performance look like on the 454 trucks.

Re: which grille/hood
ditch the banner. keep the stock hood get blisters for it on Hawks cheaper then buying a whole new hood. I like the bowtie dont get foglights thou put a mesh screen in there.
