Most certainly agreed here! That's the hood I want. I don't know if I could swing it now but I'd be interested in the final price.

Now, that looks positively ghetto, ImportsRsloths. Sheesh, who on earth would put that on their car? Those cars were well on their way to being some suhweeeet looking cars until those hoods were put on there. You didn't pay money for that did you? Is it rice? I mean, is there something to back the "look", or are they automatic six-bangers?? Tell you what, if you're anywhere near Virginia Beach, I'll take that hood, sell it on ebay and get you a real hood - the Ram Air II hood from usbody.com. I'll do it out of the kindness of my heart - just to keep you from embarassing yourself when you're seen driving it.

I think the big block hood looks okay but you DO have to have something to back it up because you know that if you're at a light and someone sees that, they're gonna wanna race. As for the ram air hood, sorry Steve, but I think they look ugly on Camaros. They don't go with the car at all. Third gens are boxy cars and the curves totally clash with it. I still think your car is awesome as hell, the hood doesn't look bad on birds. But Camaros... no.

I have a 305 TPI and the 5 speed (believe me, the 5 speed takes driving to another level)that is very fast for a 305. The guy before was a mechanic and he said he had done some engine mods on it. Ive raced 3 L98 (2 of them from my school) and a couple of 5.0', and a new Z28. These are from stoplights up to around 80 mph. (I dont count races when your going 40 and just floor, cause I might be in second gear and they might be in fifth). Well Anyway, I lost to 3 of the above 6 cars.... The two 5 OHS and the new Z. Anyways, I think automatics suck... and if my 5 speed had an L98 it could prolly take the new z's with that torque. What do ya think?

Haha! That's funny. Good to see someone who doesn't get pissed off at the slightest criticism like some newbie on these boards I know.. I agree with him though, those wheels don't go well with your car. But like I've said a million times before, its your car, be happy.

Why do you think Automatics suck? Keep in mind a guy with an Automatic can get a better more consistant launch every damn time. Dont get me wrong, Manuals are really fun. But, I enjoy my Auto quite alot, easier when driving in the city, but, if I want it to perform, it does!

Well, I know L98s cant beat LS1s or LT1s for that matter stock. Do you know whats been done to your 305? Just curious..
