Headlight "mod" DO NOT TAKE SERIOUSLY!!!

i have no idea where i got this, no big deal, but if you're looking to change the color of your headlights go to the grocery store! pick up some colored plastic wrap, remove your head lights and stretch tightlty across. if you put more layers it will look darker. you cant tell once you put them back on and it doesnt look too bad.. but of course it's cheap. i had some on for a couple nights nobody knows the difference. im sure this will be flamed but it couldnt hurt right?? ;-)

HAHA I love the quote:

"The size of a Honda Civic's exhaust tip is inversely proportional to the size of the driver's ***** "

My dad said something about that and people who lower SUVs and humvees

haha. i thought since people put cheap black pieces of plastic over their head lights and and tail lights than why not post? except they pay 40 $$ for a 10 cent piece of plastic. whats the difference? it is gay, iknow.. i never really associtated it with ricers, but it doesnt really suprise me they'd do something like that.

The difference is, that that actually looks good on the right color car. I have taillight ones on both my cars and it looks good. They're expensive, but a lot of it's for the convenience factor in being able to get custom fitting blackouts for the front or back of just about any vehicle on the market.

maybe it's me, but wouldn't the wrap melt, and possibly cause some problems...just my thoughts.

I am pretty good at making my own cheaper ghetto mods like that. For instance, all my parking lights are blacked out and look great, cost me $7 for a roll of limo tint film. I put 2 layers of film on each lens (removed from the car, of course.). On my friends 89 firebird, instead of spending $60 for tail light blackouts, we invested $3 for translucent black paint and sparayed the tail lenses. It looks stock that way too. And what if you want colored bulbs but dont want to pay for them? Simple! Invest in a set of permanent markers and color a regular white bulb the color you want it. Works great!
