ive got an 84 z28 its got a new white paint jobs im wondering what color i should do the stripes also should the be painted or will vinal work better if anyone has a white car with stripes id like to see it

 

I am thinking of red stripes for mine, my inside is red. Orange looks bad too, pretty much depends on interior, if gray or black, go with any color you like

Yea, I would base it the interior. My brother had a white with red striped 25th and I didn't like it.

Black would probably be the most chosen. Maybe blue stripes?

I'd go for blue if you have a grey or blue interior, black or silver with a black interior, orange looks good with black too

 

My friend has black stripes with taillight blackouts.Looks awesome from the outside with the windows up,but he has a red interior so when you get inside it looks gay.I agree that you should match the interior.That's my opinion anyway.

 

I agree with everyone else. Match the stripe with the color of your interior. Also go with painted stripes. I would go with the vinyl decals if you plan on leaving the stripes on your car for a short period of time. But just remember, I dont care if you have the most expensive paint job, paint will fade, and if you have the vinyl decals and decide to take them off after a year or two, you might end up with fade marks on your paint. It also depends on the quality of vinyl used. Some vinyl will tend to fade or deteriorate under the sun. Then you might have a problem getting the stripe off your car.
