I had this beautiful 92'RS with the puny 3.1 6,now its a great conversion, with a modded 5.0 and 5/speed. Im installing a new front bumper, and both front fenders from GM. I want this car to be a jaw dropper, besides that custom paint job, what color do u guys recommend, i was thinking midnight blue,hawaiin orhcid purple. If possible do u guys have pics of a color or code, so i can pick one, i know its up to me, but before i pick a color, id like to know whats out their. My stock color is the teal green. SO HELP ME CHOOSE.

I'm painting my Trans Am Sunset Metallic Orange (probabably). I don't know how it would look on a Camaro, but I saked by brother to make my TA that color in Photoshop and it looked great. If you want ot see the color go here:

Just a suggestion. Also I don't know if Camaro's get the ground fx painted differently, but I am thinking of a good color to accent the orange on my car's ground FX, any suggestion?

That pic shows all the shades of blue that it goes through in different light, from black at night, navy in most lights, and the bright blue flake shows up in direct sun or under halogen/flourescent lighting

an extremely dark blue imho looks the best on 91-92 rs's a guy down my street has one painted that color

choices? hmmmm i was leaning towards the blue's,should it matter that i hav a tan interior.

I've seen really nice 2nd gen Camaro's with the navy/tan(gold) combo. They had like a thin gold stripe accent down the sides and the chrome pieces were redone in gold, no extra gold though, it'd look kinda gheto after awhile. Plus if you change to a black or grey interior, the colors also go nicely together.

i say do a dark metallic blue with black stripes. or do a regualar blue like CarNDvr(?) and do black pearl over it.

well since you're gonna repaint the entire car, why go with something that comes in factory or stuff everyone else has?? do something different!! you like blue? look into PPG Porsche Pearl Blue ... it can be mistaken for black in certain shdes of light but it look REALLY nice.

i already have the color for my z28 picked out but its a secret, i'll just say its gonna be a chameleon paintjob (you know like those ugly purple/green ones you see but im not gonna use those butt ugly color combo's). i also have a really insane body mod i wanna do thats secret too. i'll post pix when its done!!

sorry I just had an idea, go find some pages that have pix from car shows from around the US and see what is possible. there alor lots of colors that I never knew existed untill I saw them on the internet.

check out www.sportruck.com ... its a site for trucks and stuff (dosnt have anything to do with 3rd gens) but look at all the paint schemes and colors they use. that site is where I get alot of my ideas. hope this helps.

Dodge Patriot Blue. Very nice blue in my opinion. I think it is a 2000/2001 color.

I am painting my convertible Ruby Red Pearl Coat. That is also a 2001 Dodge color.

Go to a local Dodge dealer to check out these colors.

This is a picture of my old RS. It was painted 96 Ford Toredor Red. Many people liked the color of that car.

I like that red a lot. My car is factory bright red but and my interior is red also. If i had black interior I would be painting my car sunset orange. I saw it on a street rod on TV and never knew the color. I was reading here and I stumbled across it and my jaw dropped. The GM web site doesn't do it justice.

I think I might paint my beater S-10 that color just because it looks so good!! I must have that paint HAHA.
