Here is a pic of my Z

Hey I am a new user on this forum just thought I would post a pic of my Z and see what ya'll think. This is my third third gen Camaro. I love them! There is a description of it in the reader's ride section. I will probably be posting quite a bit to get some tips and stuff.

Dave-
I must admit, that is one of the best looking flame jobs I have seen on a 3gen. I am not a big fan of that type of paint scheme on newer cars, but that looks pretty good.

Thanks for all the complements. The paint job and flames were already on the car when I bought it. I had never thought about putting flames on a third gen either, but when I saw this one I had to have it.

Decent Z28! I like the look of those flames, a little different than most flame jobs. Welcome to the board

WELCOME to the club DAVID.
nice camaro, try and find a front grille piece that is off the Z's that just has a bowtie, instead of the CAMARO one. i think it will add a few appearance points, but otherwise great car.
i saw a camaro about a 71 with a similar paint job, and he had WELD wheels the flamed ones, that would look so nice on your car!!
post some more pics of your car, i really like it!! and that way we can see how it evolves as you mod it!!
welcome aboard!!

My sentiments are pretty much the same as the others, I don’t normally like bold flames but it looks good on your car.

Welcome to the board and I hope you enjoy your stay.

It is funny someone said that they would like it better with Iroc rims, because that is exactly what I want to put on it. I am not a fan of those '91-'92 rims. I am trying to decide what size Iroc rim. I definitely want the polished ones, though!

Like it a lot
I say leave the front alone, the covers will take away from the overall front end design (not cool). What is the engine, give us some detailed specs on the car.

With your sweet ride i would put on some Boyd Coddington wheels or Centerlines, some chrome wheels,or even Torque Thrust wheels, they would look sweet on there.I have a pic of a thirdgen with flames,if someone on here knows how to post it then let me know and i will send it to you so everyone can see,its really sweet.

Someone asked about specs, here they are:
'91 Z28 hardtop
350 TPI w/700R4 tranny
Flowmaster Cat-Back exhaust
custom PROM
K&N Filters
CD headunit w/600w system
many more small mods
1/8- 9.3 @ 75mph
1/4- 14.5 @ 95mph
all power options

Well that is pretty much it I have a lot more future mods in mind so I probably asking a lot of questions.
