Your car, do as you wish, most certainly. I couldn't agree more. With your hostile attitude and juvenile rant, however, you're setting yourself up for "another" onslaught of negative reaction.

Okay, if you don't care what people think, then why are you even posting it on here? It looks like someone from the southside of Chicago stole a good looking bird and turned it into something it shouldn't be. Big thumbs down, oh wait I forgot, you don't care what people think because you have the intelligence and grammar skills of a 7 year old. If these cars were meant to have this kind of crap on them, you would see them in rap videos. But hey, thats just my .02

Whats wrong with all these people that want 22"? They all type stuck in caps lock and never made it far enough through school to learn what grammar is.

Why do you post it if you know what the reaction will be? Since you posted, apparently you want to know what we think. And since you have already told us where to go. Here is my opinion. Personally, I think it only hinders performance, and looks like it belongs in the circus. I'm waiting for the 32 clowns to come flying out of the passenger door.

Re: MY 22'S I DON'T CARE
IMHO anything above 18" on these cars is way too big. Your 22" rims are also alot more dangerous than you realize. Not only because the risk of popping a tire, but the extra wear and forces the suspension will see. And your brakes wont hold up.
I think, if you use the car mainly for show, the best thing you could do is SLAM it to the ground. Because I know you cant just return them and say you dont like them. At least lower the car on the rims and it wont be monster trucking any more.

Such hostility. He must have had a lot of negative comments about his wheels. Maybe someone is trying to tell him something?

First off, turn off the fricken caps, use some better grammar as to not give people the ammo to go off subject and attack your use of the English language.
On the rims, congrats on being able to drop that much coin, I'm sure the tire & wheel combo cost a pretty penny. No I don't like them, but then again I didn't spend my money nor is it my car so I can't bash you for it.
22's too big...maybe, but I'm considering 20's for the rear and 18's for the front so I'm stepping into big wheel territory also.
Oh well, if you could drop a bit of performance into it you'd have a decent combo. A+ on the effort.....D- on the looks with my

Thats one nice ghetto crusier you got there. Now all you need is 500 lbs of speakers and amps and maybe throw in a tv or 5 and you will fit right in with the rest of the homies. And it looks like Sanford and son's house is right behind you. Is that where you bring all the stolen cars that you need chopped up and then you take there rims ?? You see how talking ignorant gets you ignorant answers.

Granted....22" (or are they 20s? your sticker says they are) aren't what this crowd goes for. You'd have better luck in a Lowrider community, than here.....Vato.

You succesfully ruined a Firebird without getting in a car accident. My only advice for you isn't even about the car. I think you should get your G.E.D, because you're obviously a High School drop out, then you should go to a community college. Maybe take some classes on grammar and etiquette. Peace out home slice.

Re: MY 22'S I DON'T CARE
No, that thing is sweet.
Lifting an F-body so you can put 4wd and mud tires under it is a good idea.
Taking an f-body and trying to fit the biggest chrome rims under it is a bad idea.
That said, I am not totally against big rims. I used to drive a company car, it was a Chrysler 300 Hemi-C and it had 22" rims and a bentley grill. That car looked sweet.
Firebirds and camaros are not the kind of car you want to put huge rims on though.
However, when I was younger, I was guilty of the big rims also. I put 18" on a car where they had no place being. It cost me a new ball-joint, CV axle, tie rod, and control arm.
Rims too big...

Makes a ball joint let go...

Notice the direction the front wheels are pointing??

Now that yellow car....that's just plain funny. I wonder what else these guys could have put their money into instead of big wheels and tires....hmmmmm I bet for close to the same price you could put a blower setup in..

Re: MY 22'S I DON'T CARE
While I fully agree that people are entitled to do whatever they want to their cars with their money, I do find it an interesting commentary on the whole huge wheel thing that someone would be so defensive about their choice. I think anyone who spends more time defending their choice rather than just enjoying it, may have made the wrong choice to begin with.
Normally I'd just say something like "well, if you're happy with it, fine". Problem is, you don't sound "happy".

Re: MY 22'S I DON'T CARE
I give props to all these guys as most "big rimmers" seem to take very well care of their cars....BUT
HOW DO YOU PUT 22'S ON A TANK RIDING MACHINE. That has to hurt like hell hitting bumps and going through the transition from road to bridge back to road....?????
Ill never understand how that can be a nice ride???? No matter how much you like rims....
P.S. Why do all these "big rimmers" buy the same DAMN wheels. I see maybe 6 cars around my little 2-3 square mile town that has those EXACT rims...
Its sad there are only 3 types of rims out there for them....HAHA.
Well looks good and bad...but overall I think your just funny.

maybe he needs the BIGGEST wheels possible to make up for lack of size somewhere else???
P.S. my car below does NOT have those wheels on it.

enjoy your new rims, if you like them thats all it matters.
Just make sure you have plenty of stopping distance with the car in front of you. I dont want to see you wreck your nice bird.

Re: MY 22'S I DON'T CARE
He had i think 2 other threads, and ended up getting provoked by everyone.
Personally, I think the "DUB Revolution" is one of the major contributions to hungry children and cold houses in the inner city. They dont look good, are not practical, however they are totally a status symbol. And a large portion of Welfare money goes the the little rinky-dink wheel shops.
When I worked at Wheel Design, we only sold to businesses. Now, these "business" owners would buy 10's - 100's of wheels in an order. Guess how they always paid? A briefcase full of CASH! Drug money no doubt.

I was going to say something but, it's not really worth wasting the words.
If you would like to post pictures of your car. Please do so in the proper forum and do so in a respective manner. It is asked to not post with the obvious intention of attracting negative responses.
In the same manner, it would be nice if members could show some form of maturity once in awhile. Though, easy for some, it seems impossible for others.
I would also ask you guys to not give Amorget too much crap to deal with until another moderator can be found to help him out.
Thanks guys .It was mostly enjoyable serving as mod for the boards.
