Here is my Bird..Will these rims be good

So Are these rims good, what is the opinion of staying with a 16x8 size rim. My current tires are good (16X8), and after the restoration Id love to save something. But 800 bucks or so is not gonna sway my decision on tires. Are these Konig Rims a good rim or junk. I dont know. I saw them at national Tire and Battery for 349 for the 16X8 for four of them.

Thanks Guys

I like the deep lip on them. But, I personally don't think they'd look that great on a Bird. I tend to like five-spoke designs.

I can't comment on the quality of Konig rims, though I have heard of them before.

If you are posting general questions please post them in the general Appearance and Detailing section, not the Member Rides section. I have moved it there for you.

Thanks.

Ok...Give me some suggestions on a rim 16x8 that will fit the bird. Ive been searching for weeks and would love to have some help by some 3rd Generation professionals. How about just keep the price under a Grand. Thanks for the help fellas. I wanna do this right and not twice. After all Ive invested I want it to look sharp.

Here is a pic of the bird before the restoration. Looks ok in the pic but was much worse in reality

GTA wheels are probably the easiest on the wallet and their look is timeless. If you want to step up a little, get Ronal's Firehawk replicas. Thats definately what I would go with. Lemme find you a pic.

How bout the 18's from YearOne the Bandit Edition ones, or the stock GTA's will work. You can also go on e-bay & type firebird rims & you get a whole assortment.

No 4th gen rims do not fit, unless you buy spacers, but i think they go for like 100$ each, can someone confurme this, thanks

You are correct about needing spacers, however they are not $100 each. I think you can get a set for 139 per pair from Skulte.com

The Ronals aren't a replica...they are the same wheel made by the same, original company that made the Firehawk wheels in the early '90s!

ummm...not quite. I think black just hides the detailing of the crosslace wheels. However, color aside, GTA wheels are awesome hands down.
