It would have to be a roadster in the years with chrome bumbers front and back. I'm not sure what years they are but I think it's 68 - 72. I think they also made the rocker panels flare more on the 70+ models becuase the paint was getting chipped up from the tires. I think it looks a little better then the previous then the 68 and 69.

I'll vouch for the new ones, because...well....um, I own one But I have to admit, aside from the 60' Stingray's the 70's were nice, agressive years in terms of styling

I like the first run of the second generation like 63-67. I don't know why, I just like the style even though they are kinda ugly.

I had a friend in high school that owned a 1965 corvette with a 396-425HP and it was very fast. One time he was going 145MPH and it was still gaining speed.I have always liked the 1965 year model. It was totally destroyed only three months after he sold it. That was one fine ride.

I like my '73, steel bumper in the back but not in the front where it makes the car look nose heavy and clumsy, no hideous sloping rear glass or potato back either.

If I have to pick from those years then I have to go with a '76, but if I were to choose from any year ever produced. It would be a toss up between a '63 split window coupe or a '67 427 roadster

Well, id have to say that mine is the best... but my faves go like this
1) 1969 ZL1 oooooohhhhh all aluminum 427.... low 12s stock (i salivate at the thought)
2) 1973 Big Block. dove tail, chrome in back... 454. mmmmmm
3) 1967 427/435 tripower convertable. (very drool worthy)
4) 1993 (??) twin turbo callaway corvette. (hot damn)
5)2002 with 4thgen TA wing and 1.5" drop GFX.

and yes chevy did make and ugly vette. a 1980(-82?) 4-door corvette wagon. they wanted to make the corvette more of a "family car" but in doing so they made it cost near 3 times what a regular vette would cost, so it never went into production. however there is still 1 out of 6 alive. i read all about it in Corvette Fever magizine. its pretty weird, but it was really cool. it didnt have door handles. had solenoids stock. you punched in a code on the a-pillar and if it was correct the door would pop open.

------------------
1979 L-82 Beefed up Corvette. Bright-orange with orange pearl.
end of summer: NOS!! im thinkin 250 shot. (already have a full race engine.)
god i love this car.

1985 WS6 Trans AM T-tops
bone stock sloth of an engine on its last leg(LG4 w/ 172,000mi)
T-5 tranny. thank god, i couldnt stand an LG4 auto.
Plans for an LT1,
dual exaust,
& a pounding stereo.

The obvious and only choice is 69 convertible stingray with tripower 427.

THE most desireable corvette besides the new Z06 imho.
