Right now my car has the icky orange side markers blacked out with that nightshade paint. But I saw that 90 Z28SS has his clear. So which do you think looks better?

I don't see whats so bad about the orange ones, they look fine on my car.. but mine is black. I think the blacked out ones look better on a white car. Its your car though, go with what YOU think looks best.

Black looks beter one white. Both look good but the clear would look good on a darker color car say bule, black, green

BASTERDS!!! We cant change the colours her in Ontario. Damd cops nailed my buddy who had blue turn signals in the front of his car. They said "blue is only for snow plows" If I was my buddy I would hav said, what are you talking abought? It is a plow, look at how low it is! LOL! But, for you, in thse pictures the black looks better in my opinion. But I have a feeling, they would look better clear when your actually looking at them. I really dont know.

why not just shave them off. the front ones are bright enough. and the old 64 impalas and cars like didnt have sidemarkers. the front ones only. i have debated on this. but i think i am going to paint mine with the black spray! oh well.. just a thought

Where do you get that "nightshade" paint? Do they have that at the auto parts store?

i shaved mine off, and it looks great.. I'll post pics eventually. I'd say just shave 'em off, and save the nice continuous look of the car.

VHT makes the nite-shade paint, summit sells it for 6.99 a can, the clears were made by hand, check out posts by 90 Z28SS, he explained how to make the clears once.

he took his side markers, grinded or cut off the orange, broke open a camaro front parking light and used the clear reflectors inside to make clear cover. then he siliconed them on. i am going to make clear ones then i am going to also make blacked out ones. They are only about 5 bucks for new ones.

Here is a link to a company that has some "universal" clear side markers for $25, I don't know if the size fits our cars though, but if you're interested just shoot them an email to get the dimensions.
