Powder Coating

Anyone interested in powder coating? I'm thinking about buying a gun and oven and trying to coat some stuff. I'll practice on my stuff... make sure I have some idea of what I'm doing... then probably put up some pictures... I'll do everyones parts for low low prices... probably just cost of materials... if anyone is interested e-mail me at simplelayouts@zxmail.com

Also, just about where do you live???? Im gonna start a small hobby porting TPI plenums and runners and im sure a lot of the people would like to have their plenums/runners powdercoated or polished. I did mine and it is very proffessional and the polish looks awesome!

I live in Ga. My brother ports intakes, plenums, and runners... so I'll probably get mine done that way... if anyone wants to send them off to me... then yea, I'll ask them if they want to spend a little and I'll get my brother to do that as well. I'm just curious if anyone is interested in this. I'm not looking to make a profit (tips welcomed ) just cost of materials... plus the shipping most both to my house and a return paid shipping. I think those expenses will add up a little bit. I'm going to order the stuff pretty soon.... main colors will be Mirror Black, Chrome, Candy Apple red, Some type of blue and a clear coat. Probably going to cost me 150 in supplies

What should I use to redo my GTA rims? Should I powder coat them black? Or should I have them painted at a body shop? What is my best bet. I am not sure if I should get them painted gold or black. Thanks.

Powder coat... it's alot stronger. It should be cheaper too... a local place around here does all wheels for 200$. A strong gloss black with a clear looks... well, send me an e-mail and I'll send you a picture of a gloss black wheel.

I'd be interested depending on the price. I saw a black w/ clearcoat TPI months ago and have been in love since

I'm not looking to make any money...
mainly just shipping it to me with a return address and shipping already paid to be returned and cost of supplies...

Incase your wondering why I would do this...
I'm a nice guy. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about powder coating, and I can help you guys in the process. Tips are welcomed, if you like the work. Only thing I can ask for is the prep work. less work for me this way. Anyways, I'm talking to the guy about the gun over e-mail... I might order it pretty soon.
