i'm going to paint my car this weekend but was thinking if i could find a tent on craigslist big enough for the car i could paint under that and not have to worry about debris or ventalation. then i wont have to turn my garage into a paint booth. i actually need a big booth for the car and a smaller one for the miscelaneous parts. i want to make a small on(easier on) in my garage for the bumpers and mirrrors etc... so far i found one that is 11.8" by 11.8" is that enough. i'm at work and can't measure hoe long the car is. u know how it is at work, and can't keep your mind of the project and what u could do to it.

 

lol....going through the same thing.the only ones I have found ( up here in Canada)are way to big and lots $$$ or just to small...may just have to clean out garage.

I bought 1 off of ebay it is 10x20 for 150.00 try searching canopy,or pop-up or tent. I cant remember what i typed in, If i find it ill post the link.

 

northern tool and fingerhut have them.you can also look up instant garage there is a bunch of web sites

 

try TYVEK house wrap. Its fairly inexpensive and you get a decent amount of it. Then get creative, borrow a couplke af ladders from some buddys,and avcouple of 2x4s . cheap quick and disposable

 

TYVEK as i've seen, is only sold in about 9'x150' sections and over $100. Used to work at Lowes and the contractors used to get frustrated that they couldn't find that stuff in smaller amounts. Not to say it's not sold in smaller sections, just havn't seen it. Not even Home Depot which i've also worked before.
The best thing that i've seen would be the tents. As loanroad pointed out, try ebay. That would probably be the cheapest place to look. If you want local, dwint said Northerntool or whatever other cheap tool stores you have in your location.
