Someone Identify this Spoiler for me

I think it looks sweet on a T/A, I saw this on my campus and knew this would be perfect for my ride, only problem is I have absolutely no idea where to get it/who makes it or if it's even for a T/A or Camaro, all I know is I want it.

P.S. I already checked through every single link to the vendors in that section that said they sold spoilers, nothing even like it.

Re: Someone Identify this Spoiler for me

Nobody makes that spoiler, it was an option for i believe the 1988 Formulas, although people have said that it was on Firebirds as well. It came with front and rear wheel "spats" that was very remonicent of the 2nd gen trans ams. Look up wheel spats on this website and you will find them, and the conversation should include info on the spoiler. Good luck finding the spoiler though.

Re: Someone Identify this Spoiler for me

Wow, looks like my car except for primer spots. I've got that spoiler on my 88, I've only seen one other one with that spoiler and it was red. Mine is a regular Bird and also had the wheel well pieces, took those off they don't look good on 3rd gen in my opinion. Hey good luck finding one. Later.

Yeah I'll be definitely looking out for one, perhaps I can go through some shops that deal specifically with third gens and perhaps locate one through them, really praying Hawks reproduces it, I'm sure many people would want one, I know I do, although everyone has their own preference in cosmetics. Did anyone happen to sell one around here? If so how much?

Yeah me neither, I was flat-out convinced it was an aftermarket or custom add-on, but after seeing the shape the car was in I highly doubted it was custom...so I assumed aftermarket, that turned nothing up either. Got my answer here within 20 minutes, never would've guessed it myself...the people here are infinite knowledge.

Eager to see how this looks on a Trans Am trimmed bird as a whole.

Re: Someone Identify this Spoiler for me

someone should take the 5 inch and put the center section on and then take the sides and mod them and get them to fit straight like the old school 2nd gen trans ams. I know that most ppl wouldn't buy a spoiler to risk screwing it up BUT you could get the center for the hatch and then use a normal camaro spoiler and mock up a side piece and build them. That would be awesome -Matt

I was honestly thinking about that, but I don't really like parts that attach to the rear quarter, of course it looked amazing on the older gen trans ams, but I sort of want the olderschool look but just a bit more sleek like the spoiler I showed, it still has the second gen look to it but it also has a freshness to the 3rd gen, idk it's all personal preference. I emailed Hawks about a possible reproduction of it, I got a reply back asking if I was talking about the ground effects haha, so I replied back with a pic of exactly what I was talking about, hopefully they consider producing one in the near future.

I emailed Hawks and they said they had the whole thing for $800, but I didn't see it on their website, maybe they misunderstood me, I attached that picture as well, I just might need to call them instead.
