Hows business up there in Milton?(good I hope) You do some sweet looking int. from what I've seen.
Anyway,onto my vote.
Is there an in between option?
I kinda like it but as Anomaly(prev. poster) said, looks like those cheesy lund stick ons.
However, they look like they were molded in very nicely.
Sorry,I have neither a YAY or NAY on this one.
Also, are they functional or just appearance thing?

They are not the cheesy lund stick ons like somebody else said. They are just for appearance. They do not work. The scoops came off of a 76 Bird hood and were professionaly molded on a stock Firebird hood. This car used to belong to me. We had thought about making a fiberglass mold of the hood, but I wanted to do a poll first to see what others thought. No feelings hurt. I just needed some opinions. We are not going to do a mold as nobody liked it which is fine. The only thing that mattered is that I liked it. I miss that car. That was my first NICE car. I know the pictures don't do it justice, but in person, you could count your eyelash hairs in the paint. It was really nice. I love flames, so that is why flames were part of the paint job. I sold it back in April and it was not easy. Then about two months later, a young kid called and wanted a t-top and we told him to come over. I could not believe it when he pilled in the driveway and I realized that was my car. The wheels were flat, dirty and not polished, the car looked like it had not been washed in about three months and the inside had McDonalds food bags everywhere. I asked him......................Dude, have you ever washed the car, or polished the wheels? He said give me a break, I have been working. He was pretty young and you could tell, he did not appreciate a nice car. It made me sick!
I just went to Miami and bought a 90 GTA Trans Am 350 TPI with a few different factory options that alot of GTA's did not have like dual cats, big disk break option, and a factory oil cooler. The car is red with tan guts, but I am going to redo the inside in black all the way with new seats and carpet. I personally just don't like tan interior. We drove it from Miami to Milton, Florida right outside of Pensacola and got 28 MPG.. That was awesome. It has 3:42 gears in the rear. We are going to strip it down to the metal about springtime and repaint it and then I'm giving it my touch on the inside. I can't wait. It only had 82,000 original miles and still had the factory stickers under the hood on like the radiator, air compressor, windshield washer and others. It was really clean. Oh well, I could go on and on. Thanks for your vote. Email me anytime. I love to hear from all of you guys. Princess "The Covergirl"

Re: Please VOTE Like or Dislike This Hood
I think the hood alone looks ok... but on the bird... not so ok...
if it was functional, it would be alright I guess..
I voted yes for the hood.. but I'll state no for the car...

Re: Please VOTE Like or Dislike This Hood
the hood looks alright. a little bit better than a stock hood. the stripes/flames on the side of the car make it really hard to say because they are runing the look of the car in the first place. i guess i will vote yes, but it better be a cheap hood

Yeah!!!!!!!! Your three look really nice! I LOVE your Bird the most. That is the hood I want to put on my 90 GTA I just bought, but my husband says he doesn't think it looks good on the GTA. If I like it, what else matters right?
Yep, the gas mileage was awesome. I believe because it has the 350 TPI and 3:42 gears in the rear.----------
Yes, the hood was inexpensive to build. Thanks for your vote.

umm,I think the original poster already made a decision?
I think you can stop your votes now.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, please scroll up and read post #9 again.
Anyway,covergirl I love these hoods!
I haven't seen many on the square fronts(85-90) that I totally love?
I've seen a few that look ok,but I think they look best on the 91-92 noses

Re: Please VOTE Like or Dislike This Hood
I'm not really a fan of any aftermarket hoods that I've seen to date. I like the regular, factory vented hood the mostest. Nice and clean and simple.

I hate to agree with the ideal of fake look, but it really just does not fit the car...or the look, they are way to far up. maybe further down, not to be a ramair style but a 2ndgen formal...maybe...
This I love and have seen a 4thgen with the shaker look and it was sick
