Blackout Taillights
does anyone know where I can get a set of blackout covers for the taillights on my 91 RS I think those look way awesome but I can never find them anywhere except on ebay, and there is only one guy selling them and they are way to expensive.
Re: Blackout Taillights
From personal experience if your car is a daily driver don't blackout the taillight, i got nailed by the police for a ticket and i took mine off. If you really want them i'll sell them cheap...

Re: Blackout Taillights
Yep there the ones in my sig. I bought them from the summitt store in ATL so they cost me i think 70$ its been a long time lol. If you order them add another 10$ for shipping though so they would probably cost you 80$ total.

Re: Blackout Taillights
after alittle trimming with a dremel tool I got them to fit pretty well. So far I like them.
Re: Blackout Taillights
yea i got mine for 50 plus shipping on ebay. they are the hard plastic and get held on with a kind 3m tape with velcrow on the insides. You would probably have to get some new tape but they are in great condition. i only had them on for two weeks. Ill sell them for 20$ plus whatever it costs to ship them they're not doing anything for me sitting in the closet...

"GTS" brand is probably the best fitting and nicest in my opinion

Re: Blackout Taillights
No mine were probably the same ones that mikem was talking about. They weren't exactly a perfect fit so alittle trimming of the outer edges helped out. Instead of the 3m crap that they sent me I used same black rounded screws. I think it looks pretty neat and they blend in very well with the tails so it doesn't look all ghetto.
