it sure looks purdy, but i think i would have painted the bumperettes to match.

 

This is orange but it has alot of pearl in it. Looks different in the light then it does at night.

btw the paint is called bright copper metallic (which is actually a ford color).

 

Hey man sorry it took me so long. I have been into second gens lately. That is House of Kolors Tangerine Candy. my auto body instructor has a harley davidson that is that color with ghost flames. Its amazing.

Awesome cars. I'm going to paint my orange and black too. I don't know what kind of paint scheme yet, but the the orange i wanted was Atomic Orange or something like that( can't remeber exact name) but its on the newer corvettes.

Mine is currently primered yellow with a black hood and black spray painted rear bumper.

But comin up soon she is gettin a new paint job.
Atomic Orange on the bottom and Pearl Black on top. With a silver pinstripe to break it up.

There is a vette down here with the Atomic Orange and a buddy of mines dad has a Atomic Orange 57 Chevy, shes a beaut.

That is by far the best I have seen the C5 wagon wheels look on ANYTHING.

Sharp car! I could do without the decal/pic on the door personally though. The Trans Am 400 is bitchin though.

I want a really coppery metallic orange that stays orange in low light (don't like it when they look clay-red).

Mines not done yet but heres an engine bay shot. The colors plymouth prowler flame orange pearl.

 

Really sharp color, I'm sure it will be stunnung when done. I remember that stage of my build, exciting to finally have color on, but then realizing how much more there is to go... Keep plugging away, it's worht it.

 

Oh I've contemplated selling it already about a year ago, but changed my mind real quick! I've had all the second thoughts but now I'm just in "finish it" mode. I have a picture in my mind of how it will look when done and I can't give up. It's been about 3 1/2 years now since I started but I know it will be worth it when it's done!

 

Alright well I finally got around to uploading some pictures of mine, stilll needs to be wet sanded/ buffed, my ZR1s put on, and window tint put on. But I hope yall like it. These pics are with the hood just sitten down there and nothing was tightend or aligned

By clicking on the fQuick link in my sig, anyone can see the updated pictures of my 92Z painted 69 Hugger Orange with a custom style white 69 houndstooth interior. I stll have the car and took it on the HOTROD Power tour. It did great over 3400 miles. It didn't make the November Issue as far as I've seen(I'm overseas and won't have full internet access until I get home in Dec), but I did hear My 02 BlackBird convertible made it into the magazine on pages 73 & 102.
