Does anyone know who owns this car or most importantly what color is it? Is it factory or is it custom? I really love this car so much. I really need to know what the color is. I would like to use it on my IROC-Z. If anyone has any info it would help alot. Thanks -Matt

 

Thats definately the factory "Flame Red Metallic" (thats the exact name of this color)
Thats the same color I painted my old 87 GTA T/A absolutely most amazing color on a third gen hands down!

I will be painting my 85 Trans Am that color this summer.

That color looks amazing on an IROC with the Gold IROC decals, I would definately recommend that for your car
and a little bit of extra info, I used Dupont Chroma Base 1 Flame Red Metalic, it looked show room quality when it was done and will last forever. (just a suggestion)

Sadly two months after this photo, I got t-boned by a full-size van and it kinked the roof and bent the subframe!!!

Yeah, it sucks but I'm doing a full resto on my 85 Trans Am right now, its gonna be kinda of a tribute to my 87' mostly cuz it was my first car and I got it when I was 14.

But for your IROC, I personally like just the Gold IROC decals on the doors and the gold outlined IROC rims with the Flame Red Metalic. It looks a little cleaner to me.
