What do you guys think about these emblems. I got a black car so I think they will look pretty good on it and I'm not really for the bling emblems or the different color ones, I think the color once look better on cars with stripes of the same color. I like the sleeper look so not looking for it to stand out.

 

I voted no just because I don't think they would stand out very well on a black car, but if I see pics of them on the car it might change my mind. They're cool looking

 

I voted not sure because I like the way they look and are different but I would have to see them on the car before I could make a definite decision.

 

Nice looking emblems, they'd look good up close, but could you see what they are from a few feet away?? That question kept me from getting those for my car, you need more contrast in the badge to see what it is at 20ft.

 

Thanks guy for all of your thoughts. I am going for a sleeper-ish look, so I really want them to be like part of the car and not like something to stand out. That was the problem with the original emblems, I had this beautiful brand new painted deep black car and in the pictures I had the emblems were just to visible and really old looking , it really pulled away from the look of the car itself.
I ordered these yesterday and I will post pictures of them on my camaro when I get them .

Quick question to anyone that jumps on here. Whats the best to put these on my car. The guy I ordered from said they come with "3M tape installed on their back sides" but is that really going to hold these on well?

If you don't think the tape will hold them. Head to your local Napa (auto body store may have it too) and pickup some 3M Emblem Adhesive. There are a couple differnt types, so read the packages to find which one you need.

 

Ok, I got them last night put them on and got to see them this morning. They look sweet and I did a rough measure of 20 feet and I could still see them (in day light) (but I'm told i have better vision then others ). I'll post pictures up late Friday night after I get the car washed. Peace
