First Day Out (pics)

Little dusty, but glad to see her again.

BTW. Do you like body color engine bays or Black engine bays better??

I vote black, regardless of body color.

If my engine ever has to come out, I'm painting my underhood black!

If? You mean when? It is bound to happen. I am having a hard time finding my oil leak... Grr...

Back to the OP. Did you do all the prep work on the paint?

Yes it did. Who did you have paint it? I have been considering doing all my prep work on my car and have Miracle auto spray with a 3 year warranty for like $600.

Small shop here in my town did it for like $1200 a few years back. If Miracle is good at what they do, I would go for it.

Re: First Day Out (pics)

Nice!
I prefer the body color bays though. Just looks like a black hole when everything blends together being black.

Re: First Day Out (pics)

i did mine in black. it was just plain easier, to where i could touch it up with just rattle can. i would have to say a very well prepped engine bay painted at the same time the car is looks so so much better. but in cost vs function, spray paint is better.

I vote for black engine bay as well. Mine is white. Every spec of dust shows and that just plain sucks!
