WS.6 Badge

so i went to autozone and i found these "bling" letter decals they were a dollar a piece so i figured they might look good if i brushed hem with scotch bright and made them look like stainless steal, im not sure if i like it yet but i like the look of a decal on the back of firebirds. what do you guys think?

Re: WS.6 Badge

I like the idea, but I don't know about those letters. I have a 4th gen badge that will go on mine once it's painted. Just out of curiosity, why is there a . in it? The RPO is WS6 not WS.6.

I too like the idea, might even do something like that to mine. But, I will say that I'm not sure if I like the placement. Maybe on the bumper somewhere? I don't know, maybe because the letters seem a little big for where you've got them.

Re: WS.6 Badge

on a 3rd gen with the WS6 package the lettering designating it is on the centerpiece of the rims it isnt written on the body. not that it matters since anyone can stick anything they want anywhere on their cars they want.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that was only on the GTA wheels. I have an 87 Formula with the WS6 package and the 87 Formula wheels have blank center caps.

OK...Your wrong.

Until 88, it wasn't even on the GTA center caps. The 87 GTA center caps only had the screamin' chicken on them. Your center caps should have the screamin' chicken on them.

Later in the 4th gen lifespan, WS6 became more than just an option code and was adopted as a model. Like Formula/Tran Am/Firehawk.....They were all Firebirds. Or RS/Z28. Still Camaros, just different models.

If your center caps are blank, with nothing in the center, then are aimply missing the stick-on center. I think MDM has those.

Re: WS.6 Badge

Why didn't you just spend a nickel more and get the OE 4th gen WS6 bagde? Because people like me see those fake vents and chrome accents and autozone letters and know they are from aisle 5.....to each his own....

Re: WS.6 Badge

while I probably couldnt have magician'd $100 exactly into my head I AM familiar with OEM parts pricing. Hawks is asking $80 for a 25th anniversary badge like the one on my car. I just would have surfed around ebay or junkyards before getting desperate.
