I only intended to buy the second 1987 Trans-AM and work on that one. Then I ended up looking for parts cars and found the 1985 car. They both need some work, quite a bit in some areas, but they are definitely worth saving. So now instead of one restoration/modding project, I've got two. The 1987 car will probably get restored to near factory original with a few enhancements. In the 195 car I'm going to go all out with an LSx/4L60E (possible supercharger/turbo system) with all new suspension.

Now 28 years old Just picked up a 1991 Formula 350 swap auto hard top last month!

I have a 5.3 going in once I find a power steering pump for the 92. My LO3 has 294,000 original miles that havent been the easiest. Its time for something new

Once the L98 lets go in the GTA, Ill do a 6.0 swap. It currently uses a LS1 PCM and was the reason I began researching wiring

Only 2 - both the exact same expect for the interior...

 

Only had 2... An '84 Firebird S/E- 2.8L carb and the current '85 IROC 5.0 TPI. The Bird made me appreciate the Third Gen handling; the IROC is what I found while searching for a higher performing Pontiac... Drove it and had to have it! Still prefer the T/A styling, but love my ROC. Also have had second and third gen camaros, but they don't count here!

3 -- Started with an 86 Firebird SE for my son... he bought it, wrecked it, gave it to me after I helped him restore an 87 Firebird that is now his daily driver... bought an 88 GTA that I plan to use as a nice weather daily driver. I have a disease... I never met a 3rd gen that I didn't want to own.

BTW, I also owned 2 first gen Camaros -- a 68 then a 69, which to this day was my all-time favorite car.

i have had 3 and have 2

1985 IROC-Z red t-top 5 speed with a LG4 so it was slow for an iroc. it was killed buy a woman driving an excurion and talking on her phone i had it for a week

1984 z28 green T-top auto LG4 it's a rusted POS been deemed a parts car

1984 berlinetta black T-tops auto LG4 fully loaded current car it's actauly in better shape then the iroc was and i paid less for it even feels faster but it does have less miles 90k versus 156k

 

I have 3 thirdgens and 4 fbodys.
1) 82 Recaro edition Trans Am WS7 First car got it when I was 14
2) 87 GTA 350-TPI Black on tan VN car. Got that last year at 15
3) New 89 T/A LB9 Blue on gray...POS lol. I just bought it for my sister
