Re: headlights?

You have to buy new lights. Either buy stock ones cheap or for a little more get HID or similar. Personally I went for stock as I don't drive mine often at night and prefer a stock look.

Re: headlights?

I'd just suggest going with HID's, it might cost a little bit more, but with the extra view you get at nighttime it's worth that extra cost. It's something I'll be doing when I get the money. If you do a search on here, there's already a few threads where people have talk about how they've done it. It's a little more work, but worth the effort.

Alternatively you could go with the Sylvania Silverstars, they're also pretty bright, not as bright as HID's though. As for the actual light housing itself, you could but new ones, or try to take that one apart and clean it up a bit.

Re: headlights?

not worth doin hids without a proper retrofit. waste of money, ive done it. reg ebay conversions with halogens, same ebay conversoins with hids, crap. housings themselves are crap. light distribution is horrible. get a hella h4 kit like i have now (not dot) or silverstar sealed beams. i got the hella h4 kit while my acura tsx projector retrofit is being completed.

dont forget a relay harness if you do the hella kit

Re: headlights?

The passengers side headlights look like crap because they're old. As they age the chrome backing goes to hell and you get dark looking lights.

I've had Sylvania Cool Blue and Silverstars, and they are brighter when they're new, but you'd notice a huge difference if you just chucked all four of your lights in the garbage and picked up four fresh stock replacements. The drivers side lights might be newer, but you might as well match them for the $20 it'll cost.

Re: headlights?

The best thing you can do for your money is just replace all 4 of you headlights with Sylvania Silverstars, which you can pick up at any autozone or oreillys. I am very satisfied with them, nice bright pure white light. Definitely dont buy into the ebay crap
