The first one would look mean if they lost the chrome bumper. The second one sucks. The third one looks like a cross between the current camaro and the new t-bird. The last one I'm undecided on for now. The 1st gen camaros are cool, but I wouldn't try to relive the old days in some hideous concept car.

The first 3 are so un-Camaro.
The 4th one is so old-Camaro.
I'm dissapointed.

#1 too much like everything else out there for me, but I like the nose on the 98-00 4th gen. Camaro's

#2 Looks like the rear of a lexus. Again too much like everything else out there.

#3 Can you say Chrysler 300M?

#4 Retro look is interesting, it's working for the t-bird, but it didn't work for the 'stang a couple years ago. I like this one the best.

What in the name of God all mighty..... NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Although the last one, green is the best looking dear god what are they thinking

Just like how they brough back the t-bird with this retro look. What ever they do it must remain muscle and rwd not fwd and luxry, I bet these things will end up selling for like 32 -40,000 dollars.

Of course in 2005 that will probably be a good deal when gas costs 4.00 a gallon and coffee is 8.50 a cup and a Big Mac is 7.99

Oh, and where is the pocketed headlights??!... POCKETED HEADLIGHTS! Please someone..

1st: Looks alot like 60's Camaros. That car would most likely sell like crazy with some different, cooler rims and no chrome.

2nd: OK whats that, an import?? We are trying to increase sales here. Cars that are too rounded like that just don't look good or muscular.

3rd: Thats a Chrysler!!!! This is what Camaros looks like now and its not working, and I can see why. It also looks stupid and ridiculous.

4th: As I said before that style (like the 1st picture) would sell, looks alot like the 60's Camaros from the rear also. New rims, no place in the bumper for the tailpipes, no chrome, keep the cowl hood and stripes, and u have a seller.

There is no better looking Camaro than a Third Gen, and I don't think its possible to make a Camaro thats as attractive as a Third Gen either. What they should do is make a new Gen looking like our cars and just add all kinds of cool stuff to them. It would also be cool if they made a few Camaros to look like every Gen and u could pick which style u want!!

THAT car would SELL. With different colors, a good engine, and everything else, that car would sell. Now thats a car that looks like the 60's Camaros. Still not a Third Gen, but I think if they are going to be redesigning it, and are not going to make it look like a Third Gen, thats what they should do.

one thing that camaros have always been was sleek, if you compare them to mustangs they make the mustangs look like boxes on wheels, especally the 80s. The camaros where always longer and more aerodynamic.

1. Too Boring. The Grill and Lights dont really go with the rest.

2. Looks ok...but need to see the front.

3. has potential. Someone photochop a color-mathching SLP front grill on that. Make the lights kinda like the C7 too (single pod).

4. waaay to retro for my taste.

Good job on that image, 90 Z28SS. As far as my opinion on the concept Camaro goes...

#1 - Looks like a cross between a BMW and a Caddy Eldorado.

#2 - Too much like a Toyota Solara.

#3 - Chrysler Concorde! Same old stuff.

#4 - The only one that interests me... I like the "retro" look. After all, I guess "retro-everything" is popular now (just look at the Old Navy stores).

I never really liked the "rounded" look... after all, that's why I bought a Third Gen! Seems like all of the new cars, aside from trucks and most SUVs, are these round little things. Any more, you can hardly tell the difference between an American-designed car or a foreign car.

If it stays at the pace it's going at, eventually we'll all be driving bubbles!

Second Just posted to get some comments on the car, not comments from rude induviduals. Critic the car, period... It's dosen't matter who does that concept, it's the end result that matters.

This message board is about cars, so why is it that people always have to attack some one else. That's so stupid.

Anyone seen the new GM Holden Monaro? Its made in Austraila with LS1 6sp. I've read that some think it could be the next Camaro. I wonder what you guys thought of it. I haven't found any good pictures of the Monaro(it comes out this fall) but www.holden.com.au in the HSV section has pics of a bigger four door version. Just curious why the country that invented Rock-n-Roll only makes 2 affordable muscle cars and the land down under gets a bunch?!?!?

Why does GM even bother. If that's what people are looking for in a new camaro- why don't they just go out and buy an eclipse or something- better fuel economy. Personally I miss the old steel gas- guzzling boats. The past few years in car manufacturing have really disappointed me (from all manufacturers). Look what they did to cars like the Impala- chopped 'em in half threw a V6 in and put a bubble butt on all of them. What ever happened to the nice, long, sleek bodies? In the bone yard I suppose (if not in a collector's garage). Just one thing I know for sure-the minute they decide to make the camaros front wheel drive will be the very minute I will lose all faith in the future of muscle cars! If we really wanted jap crap- we'd go out and buy jap crap. We want a bad @$$ machine that make a statement; a statement that doesn't say "we'll, it's good on gas, not too fast, and the kids have plenty of room when I pick them up from soccer practice!"

Those pictures should die. The drawing is pretty good. The Camaro need to stay as far away from this new "Gen Y" look as it can. It needs to stay (err, go back to looking)fast and muscle-y looking. Third-Gens all the way!

Maybe cut come of the size down a bit, thats what kills us in the mustang-camaro/firebird race when it comes to all-around... size and weight.

I'd go for a more line-y, boxier looking 4th gen... go back to the multi-length rear, and cut down on the smoothness of the front, and some lines to the side and kill the roundness.

However, I -do- feel that before GM re-creates the Camaro/Firebird at all, they should correct their internal problems... Have you guys seen what Consumer Reports rates on GM stuff? Sad to say but it's true.

I'm done with my ranting for tonight... slater.

The holden monaro looks like a BMW body. I don't understand why all the new cars look the same. Dodge makes a good selling minivan and everyone makes one that looks like it.... I just don't understand. I like the concept in the middle of the posts. It has a bit of retro and nice lines. I don't want a muscle car that looks like a japanese car. I have to say I am in the search for a good used car right at the moment and it is impossible to find a cool little 4 banger for a decent price. The thing that gets me all wound up it the ram air firebirds are the same price or less than a friggin honda civic dx hatchback. THIS SUCKS! I need something reliable and good on gas and I could be buying my dream car instead. There is nothing nicer than an f-body.
