I'm looking at a 1983 Camaro Z-28 305 5 Speed Brand new completely redone interior, body is pretty straight already primered, im looking to build it with a new engine later is this a good starting canvas?
He is willing to take $1500.00 It runs good shifts good not sure if $1500 is too much what do you guys think?

your better buying a roller or something with a blwn motor, but the paint is in really good shape, and no rust. You can get a clean roller for 1500. I live in ny so i dont knw if the prices vary but i found a super clean iroc roller for 2gs, like mint, just needed motor and tranny and was ttops. hopefully this helps man

I think $1,500 is a good price for that car. A thirdgen without a motor is worth $1000. Looks pretty clean for what it is, maybe different wheels though. I would also check for rust on the undercarriage...

I agree that car scares me, fitment of the front fender and hood looks out of whack, the primer looks to be peeling off in spots, I've seen straight cars with no rust in fenders and quarters with giant holes in floors and wheel wells, you'd just about have to rip out that gawdy interior to see how bad it is... No way $1500, even if it is a 5 speed hardtop, plus that cars probably been beat on... Keep shopping, guys find beautiful rust free 3rdgens in the $2000 to $3500 range, just be patient, I'd run from that car!!!
