STICKERS

I'm putting some stickers on my car, but I want them to be able to endure for awhile. want them to stand up to automated car washs, and waxs and the elements
Is there something I can spray on the stickers, to bond them more to the car? like a clear coat or some kind of compound

What kind of sticker are we talkin about here. Of its one of those crazy type-r stickers that I heard give you like 30hp, then you dont have to worry about it cause those kind of decals are made to endure weather. Just plain stickers will never last on a car.

OEJ, im baffled, i absolutely dont know what to say to some of your posts.. what stickers are you talking about? the ones that are made to go on the outside window of your car will stick on there.. any sticker will, bumper stickers dry out and chip off after a few years, but i'd get the ones that dont have adhesive on them, but just stick to your window, i had a big rockford fosgate sticker on my back window for a while and it never came off.. till i took it off cuse i realized only after someone stole my stereo that its not good to advertise

any vinyl decal cut from a reputable place should work... I work at a vinyl shop and we have done lettering and logos for inside an automatic carwash so I think that stands up pretty good. We do all kinds of stuff for cars, I guess most quality vinyl has like a 7 year expectancy before it fades. as long as you let it sit for a few days before say power washing or rubbing on it it should be fine.

Make sure you wash the location for the sticker with Dawn dish soap before you apply the sticker(s). Dawn will remove all oils and wax and allow the sticker(s) to adhere to the surface better. Some people even like to use rubbing alcohol to clean the area before applying the sticker.
