How to clean up healights
I have a 1991 Z28 camaro that I have had for about 6 months now. I have a few problems with the headlights. The two turn signal lights (sorry I don't know what they are called) are very fogged up with water inside of them. We took them off yesterday and tried to clean them off. We were able to get all of the moss out (there was moss growing inside of them) but we could not get to the front of the lights. There was these two reflectors in the way. Do we have to remove the seals, take the front off, and then clean it off and polish it?
Also, the passenger side high beam and the two fog lights have water inside of them as well. We couldn't see any way to get inside of the high beam light to wipe it off, so do we just need to buy a new light?

Re: How to clean up healights
ok what i just did was put quite a bit of dawn soap inside the round opening and slowly let it move around to get in the crevices and then got the whole marker full of soapy water, let it sit then flush it out completly and then poured a lil more soap in then washed it out with lots of pressure so it removes the crud and gets a deeper clean and dam they look much better
not as shiny as re-finishing them but still much better. then i re-polished the lense and it helped a little, i still need to buff more and put wax over. i noticed a bit more improvment in lighting and if you did what i did you will defintly see lots more. mine were already polished on the outside nicely but this makes them much better. if your looking to make them perfect then cut them open and go to town but im much happy with them now (still would like to competly clean them now but atleast i got them a bit more shiny, clearer, and got 99% of the crud out!) also forgot to say once you rinse all the soap out the final time, first if avaliable use a air compressor to blow out some water then a wet/dry vac there not neccesarily but helps get some water out.
