My New IROC- Clay bar & Cleaner Wax
just got it yesterday, took a clay bar to it and some Meguiar's Cleaner wax.
Next weekend will be the good stuff (Formula 113).

I agree, the paint on them is just too good right now to mess it up.

No, it's a separate wax that Mag's sells.
It works sort of along the same lines of a clay bar, but different.
I usually like to use that after a clay bar, then no more for a long while

Hit it with some Mags carnuba wax really some good stuff,I didn't think it would make a diff on my truck but I'm sold on doing the step process.Car looks good as it is though

thanks guys.
It was actually weird driving the car home seeing a blue hood with louvers. Was so used to a red one before, even though it was a few years ago.
Of course my past 2 cars I don't recall being able to see the hood at all (04 Civic still driving and 97 Formula)

I did know how to wax and take pics with a good angle
the drive back was hot (no AC) and a bit nerve wracking. It was a 200 mile trip, never know what could go wrong with a car this old
