I agree, the paint on them is just too good right now to mess it up.

SOO-WEET!!!
Love the blue & chrome!!!
I haven't clayed, but I am now a user of Meguir's Gold Class Paste wax!

PLease forgive my ignorance; what is '
" Cleaner Wax ", is that for use specifically with a clay bar??

No, it's a separate wax that Mag's sells.

It works sort of along the same lines of a clay bar, but different.

I usually like to use that after a clay bar, then no more for a long while

Re: My New IROC- Clay bar & Cleaner Wax

thanks guys.

It was actually weird driving the car home seeing a blue hood with louvers. Was so used to a red one before, even though it was a few years ago.

Of course my past 2 cars I don't recall being able to see the hood at all (04 Civic still driving and 97 Formula)

I agree - Being that it doesn't look like a factory color (at least in the pics, shade is maybe diff), having the headlight buckets body color adds to the "something's not right" feel of the paint.

Looks good; but definitely paint the buckets black - very easy to do.

Welcome back. I always wondered what happened to your car. You use to have one of the nicest cars here and I am sure this one will the same before long.

How was the first drive back in a thirdgen after an absence like? Curious minds want to know...lol.

one of the nicest? Man, that's not sayin much, did you ever see the driver side fender and door lol
I did know how to wax and take pics with a good angle

the drive back was hot (no AC) and a bit nerve wracking. It was a 200 mile trip, never know what could go wrong with a car this old
