Appearance and Detailing. There are a few other threads like that. Including someone who turned his into a tubbed Radio Control Drag car complete with big slicks (foams). Cage and everything.
re: My mini Z build
At one time there was some suggestion to add a Memorabilia section to the History/Restoration forum, which I believe this topic is close to, so that these types of topics could be posted and filed together.
Therefore, in my mind, it could probably exist in either forum since neither is exactly specific to this topic but both are close.

Nice! I have 12 balsa wood model cars from the early fifties that are still in the box. Die cast is easier to find but I haven't seen any Third Gens. My Dad built a 1917 Regal with hand made upholstery and door latches that work. Thanks for sharing!

Re: My mini Z build
Another toy maker that has made some die-cast replicas of 3rd gen camaros is Jada toys. I got a black 85 Iroc they made (1:24 scale) with opening hatch, doors, and hood. It also has removalbe T-tops.
Some other toy makers off the top of my head are these:
-Hot Wheels (Z28)
-Matchbox (IROC)
-Micro Machines (IROC)
-Johnny Lightning (Z28/IROC I forgot which one, along with a GTA/Trans Am)
I'm sure there's some other ones, but it just takes a bit of time and some research to find a 3rd gen.
Other than that, to the op, nice mini Z. Looks like your ride you have pictured.
841LE: Nice one man. Why not finish it?

Re: My mini Z build
theres not as many buildable models though that ive seen, and most camaros are 82-84 i made a duplicate of my car with an 82 and everyone is amazed that it looks exact but i know that its not and it bothers me a little
