Its my secret how I did it, but it wasn't too complicated.
Legal, maybe, do they work, yes. Never been pulled over or commented on when I do get pulled over for something else. Actually, I got pulled over because the relay for one side was acting funny and not staying on and so one side was out, cop pulled me over, commented on the muffler and the headlight out, but nothing about the actual headlights.
The lights I used were just some that I found at different places. They are going to change because I want the outside ones to be brighter. Plan on using round driving lights, 130watt bulbs as brights.
They should make nice brights.

I own a Camaro, also, my first car, hence the RS, and Camaros don't got **** on the Firebirds, I own one of each so you cannot say I am bias or jealous or anything, just my opinion...

I always imagined it but never got to see one in person or an actual photo.
hehe...creeping behind a car at night must trip them drivers out...lol.

I'd also reconsider the round headlight thing. I can't even imagine how horrible round headlights would look on a thirdgen.

Jim - The round light will never be on by itself, it will also be in a square casing. The problem that I have found is most square driving lights suck at getting all the light foreward. They are also normally too tall.
The other thing is that both those lights are rounded at the edges, and in reality the round ones would look all that different on the outer edges when on. Most people can't even see the shape of the light when they are on at night, they basically look like one big light.
We'll see though, it sucks I can't find another descent set of driving lights.
