3rd Gens at Turkey Rod Run, Daytona Beach

This is one of the largest car shows and features anything with 4 wheels. Usually there are a few interesting third gens and some that are not so fantastic.

Same 'vert kit as the above Camaro, never seen it on a Firebird before. I kinda like the white-line tires.

Ya know... I kinda dig the gold wheels with white walls too.

And I've never said that before.

The are all in a Photobucket account. It gives you the option to simply click on the image (IMG) which copies it then I can simply paste onto my message without using the 'insert image' icon.

I wouldn't think I could ever say that (regarding the white walls) for a 3rd gen either but it kiiiiiiiinda works overall.

I've gone the last 7 years or so. It lasts for 4 days around Thanksgiving. The key is to get the showcar pass and park inside the track for the 4 days instead of paying each day (it takes at least 2 days to see between the swap-meet, sale cars, and show cars).

No it surprised me, just moving the cursor over the photo brings up a list (Email & IM, Direct Link, etc..) Just clicking on IMG copies it then it can be pasted. Viola!

HA! You're welcome. So much easier. That is an unusual ?Ketchup? colored Z. What wheels are those? Also, the painted T-top is a different touch and I like the shaved nose. The black RS is slick too, looks like chrome wheels, another rare addition.

The "ketchup" colored Z belongs to sailtexas186548. The black RS belongs to one92rs. It was a first for local ThirdGenners cruise. Here's the original thread!

I was there with my IROC I actually posted a thread about it in the members camaro's section and havent got a single reply yet. Here are the pics from my other thread. I had a great time down there as always but this was the first time I took the IROC and it was pretty nice having it down there.

Agreed, very nice IROC. Was almost getting deja vu looking at your pics. Always had a soft spot for the Pace cars as well (being a Hoosier an' all). So do you and your bro get along ? I like the bowtie center caps on your IROCs, a nice touch. Also, on the '78, are those C4 wheels?

Yes we get along fine he just has a bad taste in cars...but he has made that mustang look mighty nice. It is my favorite of that bodystyle that I have seen, I am partial though b/c I did alot of the work. he does have a good taste in engines. We should be putting an LS1 in the mustang soon.

Yes they are c4 vette wheels on the pacecar. That car runs 11.9x's also.

Haha, nice. I do like the late fox bodies although one with an LS1 is a bit unorthodox. Excellent choice though. Did you paint the chin below the 'camaro' grill? Looks awesome.

Yes its called the "widemouth" mod. I think it makes the front of the car look 100% better, the wider, larger looking grill makes the whole car look beefier in my opinion.

There are plenty of people doing ls swaps into fox bodies. With those cars being as light as they are an ls motor in them is ideal. As soon as he graduates his engineering degree at Ga Tech we are going to start on the swap.

this is always a good show. i am going again this year and am trying to get a spot inside to not have to pay every day also. i saw the burgundy one with the body kit and massive wheels last year. that was a good looking car and the owner was as nice as could be. if anyone wants to meet somewhere this year let me know - i usually go with my dad too. i'll have to look through pics from last year just to see the cars again!
