Re: 4th gen SLP spoiler

That wouldn't even be fun to try to fit.

The standard TA 98+ wings have a bad fit already with their minimal contact points (2 stands & the 2 wing ends) so trying to get that SLP wing to sit flat all the way across, would be a nightmare.

Re: 4th gen SLP spoiler

Not to mention it's pretty ugly, and I don't think it would ever match the lines of a boxier third gen. That spoiler is round and bubbly shaped like a 4th gen. When I bought my 2000 Firehawk, I made it a point to find one with the regular WS6 spoiler because of how odd that one was.

Re: 4th gen SLP spoiler

I have that spoiler on my 2000 Firehawk and owners usually refer to it as the 'lumpy spoiler'. It was an SLP option from 99-00 and not many ordered it (14 of 719 in '99 and 125 out of 741 in '00). SLP destroyed the molds so you won't find a new one. I happen to like it for its rarity although I doubt it could be adapted to a 3rd gen as the spoiler body mounts flush to the hatch glass of the 4th gen.

The 93-97 wings are better.

I thought so too, so I got the 01 wing I found, after I passed up the 97 wing & FYRCHKN got it.

His sits flat, mine doesn't. Only thing we can come up with is the 97-98 crossover years.

Sorry, but I never got any close up shots of his wing, but will next time I see him.

Huh, well I'll be damned. Thought they were all the same. Thanks for the info.
