I like the GTA hood better. Does any one have pics of the GTA hood on a Firebird without ground effects, or on a formula?

I like the ASCD hood better. It's not as tall and a bit more square; it seems to go with the lines of the car better. On top of all that, it's cheaper.

The first one is ugly and follows the same seam lines as the standard hood. I like the second one from GTA acc.

Is that the Ram Air II hood?

It all depends on your liking of stock stuff. I personally like the 1st one because it looks like it belongs with the car. It doesn't seem to flaunt the car as much as the 2nd one does.

The pics you have shown are are perfect with the hoods the two cars have. Waht i mean is the first one looks bets with that hood, and the second one looks best with that hood.

It all depends one which car u got.

I'm partial to the RAII hood myself... but for obvious reasons (scroll down ) BUT. since I'm starting to see this hoods on a lot of cars on this board.. I'd 100% reccommend the first one Man, sure was nice back in september when I had the prototype hood from US Body source.. no one else had it. oh well. Life goes on.

I like the 1st one better. Probably cause I have one. The quality is very good. The underside of the hood is smooth to so it looks good when you pop the hood to. I do think the 2nd one looks good on T/A's.

Amrish, I'm curious as to whether you have actually seen in person or even pictures of the Ram Air II hood on a 91 or 92 bird with gfx. You'll be very hard pressed to find one. I found 1 picture and I have been searching for 6 months, and it's not even a good picture. Until I see a good picture of that hood on a 91/92 style, I can't say the ASCD hood looks better.

I like the second one way more. I have a friend with a 92 Firebird and he wanted to get the first hood. I showed him the GTA Accessories hood and he immediately changed his mind. It just looks so much more aggressive. But its your car, do what you want.

Thanks buds mine is a covertible so I think the less agressive one would go with smoother with the lines.

I still rember my Iroc days though had the cowl hood loved being able to see down into engine on a sunny day.LOL

Actually....
I'm thinking about picking up a cheap V6 Firebird and putting on a RAII hood and hi rise wrap around T/A Spoiler w/a new paint job. Maybe investing no more than 2500 on the whole project just so I can have one that looks as sweet as that. Who cares if it doesn't fly? I would probably sell it shortly after anyway.
