I've posted this before, but check out Optimum No Rinse. It's available at Autogeek.com. You can also search the forum for a product review I wrote.

Griots is a good product if you have the dough. I work at a detail shop with my dad and we order everything through various vendors.

This guy is a professional, but the results he gets are nothing short of absolutely stunning. Although my Meg's has done the job just fine, I almost feel bad for ever thinking Meg's was good stuff, and am almost embarrassed to have been using it exclusively...:

Yeah it's definitely not cheap, especially when you realize that's just one of a multitude of products used in the detail.
But it is indeed one hell of a detail job, and makes me ashamed. The results are hard to argue with, even at that price. One of the other waxes he uses runs $300 a can.

I wouldn't necessarily be ashamed if I were you. It's tough to drop that much for wax and like you said it's only one part of the job. I'm 19 so I've gotta pretty tight budget but I'm going to be proud of my camaro no matter what. With gas prices the way they are and everything else factored in I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if you think it's worth it than go for it. Anyway most people in the US are too lazy to take the time to hand wax their car properly every few months, so you've got that over a lot of people.

The car will get dirty again no matter how shiny you get it. I have seen just as great results with Meguiars professional line... Ashamed, embarrassed?????? I would be ashamed and embarassed to tell anyone i spent $200 on wax!

www.detailking.com has great products. This is where I get all of my detailing supplies. They have a great car wash called "Black Cherry". Washes great, brightens the paint and also adds a layer of wax that beads the water. Great prices also!

Lets see some shine. Here's mine with a product called Race Glaze (polish/sealant).Wash and dry with the products in my first reply (#7) then just lightly hand buff on and lightly hand buff off, that's it.$20.00 for a 16 oz. bottle that gos a very long way. It may not have the shine of some but I like it. This car has never been waxed.
