Re: My new paint job!

From this distance that looks quite good for a $200 paintjob.

I personally think that you could improve the look of the car immensely by fitting a set of original 16" formula rims in silver and a dual dump muffler.

With the one tailpipe, the steel rims, the tinted taillights and the otherwise clean look it looks like it wants to impersonate an import.
No offence, just a few small changes would make it look better in my opinion.

Single-stage?

Looks like it needs to be cut/buffed still...?

Definitely lose the tires, and it would look a lot better. It's on it's way to looking pretty good.

Re: My new paint job!

Yea I am not trying to make it look like a tuner lol, At the time of those pics the exhaust was still all screwed up and that's what we are currently working on now. And We do still need to buff it. And I plan on getting a nice set of full white letter tires.

Looks pretty good! It will look great with RWL tires, what kind of tires are you getting? I'm quite pleased with my firehawk Indy 500's.

Re: My new paint job!

Not sure what tires yet but I will definitely look into the Firehawks and we used Dupli-Color Black from Auto Zone and Montana Clear from NAPA. Not sure what type of spray gun it was but I will ask my dad and let you know.

Re: My new paint job!

That looks freakin' phenomenal for $200. I personally have a thing for BFG Radial T/A's. My favorite tire for anything classic and clean. Plus when you clean em they look the best, and they stand out when driving cause of the raised white letters.

But none the less. Great job!

Re: My new paint job!

Thanks to everyone for commenting! I do have one question for yu guys, Should I add some silver pin-striping or leave the all black-out look?? I personally love the complete black-out but I also think that the silver pin-striping would look great if put in the right places...So I am kinda stuck in between lol

Re: My new paint job!

Leave it all black & put a red or silver stripe on the edge of the rim.
